"I hope the food gets here soon; I'm starving!" She says, her lips forming a slight pout, which makes her face even more adorable and attractive than it already is.
All I can do is nod my head in agreement with a small smile on my face as she continues our conversation about which video game runs better on what gaming system. I can't help but allow myself to linger on her facial expressions, watching the way her eyes light up whenever she's in nerd mode, how such a petite smile can look so full and wide.
Then my thoughts wander to how different it would be if we were actually on a date. Would she let me brush back that small strand of hair that keeps falling into her face and tuck it behind her ear? To have my hand caress her delicate cheek.
It sends my heart into a whirl, and I'm pretty sure I'm smiling like a fool. Because by this point, her face has gone from bright and cheerful to stern and slightly annoyed.
"Kookie, you weren't listening, were you?" She questions, with an eyebrow raised and her lips pinched together.
I let out a laugh, to which she tilts her head to one side; shaking my head, I reply with a bunny smile. "I'm sorry, Noona, I was just thinking about some things."
She sighs, then smiles at me as her head begins to shake. "Geez, Kook, you're terrible with spacing out."
I flash another signature smile at her. "I guess that's just one of my many charms."
Her mouth opens for a rebuttal when our food arrives at the table. She instead smiles at the waitress and thanks her. I pinch my mouth together to stifle a laugh. But not enough for her to miss it, she lightly kicks me in the shin beneath the table as she shoots me a shut-up look.
Then her gaze goes to the plate in front of her. She takes her fork and knife and begins to tear into her meal. I smile at her and begin to eat my food; all the while, I contemplate how I'm going to get her birthday present in time.
It's around noon now, and we have four more hours to kill before I have to get her home for the party. We walk around the mall, visiting various shops, some that we both enjoy and others. Well, normally, I stay clear of them; it's nothing to do with the fact that they're all female clothing stores. No, it's more or less the women or even sometimes the men that inhabit them that bothers me.
I can handle people I can tell are ARMY showering me with attention because when they see us out about in public, they're not always up in my business. And are generally very polite when they ask if they can take a photo with me or for an autograph. I always feel bad when I have to turn them down; I don't take many photos with them as I use to back when BTS first debuted.
But these people.....sometimes they can be almost as bad as Sasaengs. Don't get me wrong; I don't think all of them are terrible human beings. It's their choice of how they do things, I think is a bit poor on their part.
I quickly look away from the woman ogling hard at me before I make some random face to try and scare her off. As I look towards the dressing room, she walks out in one of the most adorably sexy outfits I've ever seen on her.

Turning towards the mirror on the wall, she looks at her reflection and asks, "You don't think people would think I'm too conservative and plain in this?"
I gape at her as I shake my head, "Why should you care what they think of you?"
Huh, yea, now that's a line I could use in a song.
She's insane if she thinks others wouldn't find her attractive in anything she wears. She gives me a small smile and nods her head. Spinning around to face me, her skirt twirls around her, and I can't help but take her all in.
"Okay then, I think I'll get this one."
After she pays for the outfit and a pair of white low-top converse, she decides to buy at the last minute. We make our way to the restrooms, where she can change into her new clothes and shoes. After waiting for roughly ten minutes, she finally walks out of the restroom. I look at her as she carries her bags with that small frame of hers; I sigh and take them from her.
"You're the only one who would pair converse with a skirt." I tease as we head towards the mall's exit doors. She sticks her tongue out at me playfully, which makes me chuckle. As we get to my car, I see a group of young girls nearby with their phones out.
Shit..why of all days do the Sasaengs have to pull this now. God, I hope Bang PD can get this sorted out if they try to start crazy rumors because that's the last thing I need.
"Come on, Noona, I should be getting you back home before Tae gets anxious." I lead her to the passenger side so she's safe from the people giving us unwanted attention. When she's safely in the car, I close the door and hurry to the driver's side.
But before I could get in, one of the girls manages to get closer and begins to bombard me with questions and flashes of light aim towards me and to the inside of my car.
"Oppa, is that your new girlfriend!? I'm so happy for you, but won't that make others jealous and get mad at you? She's cute, but I think you could find someone as sexy as you."
I force a smile, which I'm sure they couldn't even tell this one from my actual one. "I'm sorry, I have some important business to attend to."
When I get into my car, I close the door, shove on my seatbelt and start the engine; then, I look over to the passenger seat. "You should probably buckle up, Noona."
As soon as I hear that familiar click, I peel out of the parking lot and onto the main road heading towards her and Taehyung's house.
