Aranya's POV
I woke up. My mind left my body, and I found myself in a dungeon. I shuddered at the sight of my body, which was caked with dirt, and my clothes were ragged.
I wondered whether this was Death or a dream.
Death....... I'd be sinking under a dark lake, so no.
A dream...... it was too real for it to be one.
So what was it?
My prison seemed to be a stone block inside a translucent bubble. Outside the bubble, I saw a dark, vast plain.
"This is my mind...." I told myself.
And I had my own reign on my mind. I could do what I want.
I stepped out of the bubble, and walked. It must have been for hours, or something, but I wasn't tired. Suddenly, my head started pounding. My vision flickered, and suddenly, I was on a battlefield.
Then it disappeared, and I was back where I had been: on the plain.
There were other bubbles too....
One had flames roaring in it, with the sound of tortured souls coming through it.
"Help us!" they cried.
I shook my head and moved on.
One had a line of bored spirits moving along.
Another had many thrones, with godly beings sitting in them.
Then it hit me. These weren't bubbles. These were worlds.
