"How did you defeat them?" Sid asked.
I shrugged and said, "It was easy. Their knives were part of them, so.... Plus, I heard this voice in my head. It sounded like Aranya. But it's probably just wishful thinking...."
"Does that count? I mean, the knives?" Sid asked
"They're dead, why are you complaining?"
"Fair enough." Sid shrugged.
Nilan seemed out of it. Like really out of it. It wasn't normal.
His eyes were shut, and when he opened them, for a second, they had a purple hue.
"Hey, um, burly guy said that the Kauravas were taking over souls... not just hearts.."
Sam said.
"Mrityuloka. They want to take over the spirits of Mrityuloka." Nilan said, immediately.
"That's bad." I muttered.
"Yeah, no surprise. Wanna take a detour to the land of Death?" Nilan asked.
"Nope! Let's go to Aranya. She'll have all the answers." Sam said.
"Okay. Let's camp here for the night."
