Can't we ever get a day off from fighting monsters? It's like the Universe is laughing and jeering, "SUCKAZZZ"

Hmph. I have officially started to hate it. Anyway, I should get on with the story.

We were on the bus ride to the national park, with our classmates. Aranya looked down, and her face was covered by the hood. It had been a week since Nilan and died, and none of us were feeling better.

Suddenly the bus stopped. There was a crunching of metal, and the entire bus got flipped over. I am not kidding. There was pure panic now. My classmates were crying and screaming. Someone wildly came up with a theory that it was the killer who was throwing the corpses in the sea. They can't be wrong, I thought.

Suddenly, there was dead silence. All my classmates seemed to be in a catatonic state. Aranya must have done it. I tried to think about what to do, but it was hard with all the blood rushing to my head.

I unbuckled my seatbelt, and Aranya and Karnya did the same to theirs. With a flick of her wrist, Aranya's knife came to life, and I summoned my trident. Karnya got out her sword, and we waited.

A shadow monster came into the bus, and grinned at all the children asleep. My blood turned to ice, and suddenly, the air shimmered. There was a protective layer around them now.

The monster smiled at us and said, "Now, now children. That won't last for long. Why shouldn't I just finish them off, and you can get your little friend back."

I was terrified to see Aranya hesitate. Then, she said, "No. He wouldn't want to come back this way."

She ran forward, and tried to stab him, but the monster sidestepped, and Aranya rammed headfirst into the glass that separated the driver and the seat. She stumbled forward, tried to stab him again, but he easily managed to duck. She was in no fighting condition. Next, I tried. I tried to pierce him with my trident, but no avail. I only managed to pierce one of the pipes that ran along the bus.

I cursed, and then Karnya came from behind, and chopped off its head. The monster's giant body crashed into the ceiling of the bus, and then disappeared. I saw a liquid running along one of the windows. My heart filled with dread.

"The gas pipe is leaking!" I yelled to my friends. Aranya created a protective cover around the kids, and we ran out of the bus.

There was a huge explosion, and all my classmates appeared unscathed.

"WE HAVE TO GO!" Aranya yelled. "WHERE?" I hollered back. "Away from here! We'll just put them in danger!" "We need help!" Karnya yelled. "That's where we're going," Aranya said, putting a force field around the fire. "To find the Pandavas."

"But them-" I said, pointing to the asleep classmates. "They'll be fine! Now let's go. We need to round up my brothers."
