Yeosang
I arrive at the flower shop in a span what seemed like the hours but was in fact just ten or so minutes, if even that.
The whole of that short walk was used for thinking back to the encounter with Seonghwa. I must be going crazy. He wouldn't actually like me, would he? Why would he? I mean. Look at me. I am a mess and a burden for most people I have ever come in contact with.
"Hey, Yeosang." The older called out right as I was about to exit the apartment. I turn to him, head tilted a bit. "Yes?" I asked softly.
I could see some hesitation on the older man's face as he considered his words. "Should.. I.. Should we find out then?" He asked quietly. My hand fell off of the door knob. "What..?" He smiled at me softly. "I mean... You know. If it's actually true feelings or just... Something that'll pass.. Should we..?" He fumbled on his words.
"Should we go on a date..?" I carefully finished his sentence, feeling heat rush to my cheeks. The other hummed in agreement, making me part my lips a little. "I.. Uh.." I struggled a bit before nodding my head. "If.. I guess if you really want to?" Seonghwa smiled softly and nodded his head. "I really do.. Text me when you're free?"
After that I left.
It felt unreal. Very much so.
"Yeosang? Are you okay?" Wooyoung snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned to the younger. "Huh? What?" Wooyoung came closer and leaned on the counter. "You've been staring at the cash register like you just went bankrupt for a solid ten minutes now... Is something wrong?"
I shook my head and huffed. "I'm fine. It's nothing." I said, shaking my hands a bit. WOoyoung would tease me if I told him.
The younger gasped. "You've got a crush, haven't you! Tell me! Who's the lucky guy?" Wooyoung started asking questions, eyes lighting up in child like curiosity. I felt heat rise to my cheeks and looked away. "I'm right! Spill it, Kang!"
I opened my mouth but was interrupted by the door opening. I stepped down from the stool I had set my ass on and walked out from behind the counter. "Welcome! How can I help you?" I said and pulled on my customer service smile, leaving Wooyoung in the dust.
I helped the customer find the flower they wanted before turning back to Wooyoung, who was still standing where I left him. "Did you want something?" I ask. The younger rolled his eyes. "Tell me!" He whined and I held back a smirk. The door opened again making me ready to get down but Wooyoung stopped me.
"Ah! I'm trying to get the juice out of my best friend, why do people keep interrupting!" The boy whined and turned around. A familiar chuckle rang in the small shop making me turn my head.
"I just wanted to bring coffee..." Seonghwa said, smiling sheepishly. I got down from the stool straightening my clothes. "You should have stayed home and rested, Hyung." I spoke. The older hummed. "I couldn't stay still." He said sending me a smile afterwards. I couldn't help but to smile back.
Seonghwa placed the coffee mug carrier onto the counter. "Anyways. What were you trying to get gossip about, Wooyoung-ah?" Seonghwa asked, turning to the youngest. Wooyoung pointed at me. "He has a crush! But he won't talk to me about it! Tell him to tell me, Hyung.." The boy whine.
Seonghwa smirked a little and leaned on the counter. Oh no.
"Won't you tell us, Yeosang-ah?" He asked, looking at me with fond eyes. I stared at him, dumbfounded. "Wooyoung, cover your ears for a moment, please?" I asked. The younger seemed a little confused but did as I asked anyways.
I leaned forward to whisper into the elder's ear. "You know you'll get your ass kicked for asking me out before asking Wooyoung, right? He overreacts to things like this." I pulled back abit. Seonghwa nodded his head, smiling. "He can't kick." I bit my lip, holding back a laugh.
"Okay since Yeosang is trying not to laugh; You're clearly talking about me." Wooyoung said and lowered his hands.
"Now speak." Seonghwa demanded, yet somehow sounded quite sweet.
I sighed in defeat. "Well..." I started, eyes moving between the two. "This morning this guy asked me out for a date..." I explained. Wooyoung's lips parted. "What?! Who? Where?!" He asked, clearly shocked, while Seonghwa in turn faked being surprised.
"Yeosangg! Tell me!" The younger grabbed my hand while whining. I cleared my throat a bit. "Well. there is exactly two guys I've currently spent my day with... If it's not you, Wooyoung, my dear friend, then who is it?"
Wooyoung let go of my arm and turned to Seonghwa. "Wait." he said and turned back to me. I raised my eyebrows a little. "Wait, wait..." "We are waiting." Seonghwa stated calmly and handed me one of the coffees.
"I fucking knew you liked him!" Wooyoung suddenly exclaimed and pointed at me. I scratch my head a little and smile a bit crookedly. "I swear to fucking god if you said no, I'll..." "He said yes, don't worry." Seonghwa chuckled.
"Shut up, I'll get to you later." Wooyoung said. I clear my throat a little. "Well... I mean. It's.. We're going out to see if.. If we actually like each other or if it's just in the moment." I mumble quietly. Wooyoung smiled widely. "Ah... I understand..."
Wooyoung then turned to Seonghwa. "Now... How fucking dare you not tell me you were planning this! I could've teased the living shit out of Yeosang. It thought we were friends." Wooyoung whined kicking the older man in the shin. I snorted softly when Seonghwa's face twisted in pain.
"I'm sorry. It was a sudden thing I wasn't even planning on asking! I swear I'll take care of him!" Seonghwa blurted out. "Please stop, I need my leg for walking."
"I know you'll take care of him. I wasn't doubting that." Wooyoung stated and crossed his arms. "You know... I'm just glad that he found someone.." I squinted my eyes. "I'm still here." I mumble and sip the bean water.
"I should let you two work now. I just... Wanted to come see you." Seonghwa said. I smile at him. "I'll text you later." I stated and the guy nodded. "I'll wait for it." he exclaimed before heading out. Wooyoung cleared his throat.
"Whipped."
