Seonghwa

I'm sitting alone on my couch watching the TV. I'm honestly quite bored. I start to get up but my body freezes as a light flashes and a loud rumble echoes into my ears as my eyes widen. I swallow a nervous laughter. I thought I was already over this.

After the shock settles, the tears make their way into my eyes. I reach for my phone hectically. I grab the device and speed dial Hongjoong's number. "Seonghwa?" I hear the other's worried voice say. "What is it?" he asks. It takes me a moment to let the words out. "...Storm..." I manage to make out before a sob escapes from my mouth. I hear shuffling on the other side. "Hold on.. I'll be there in a moment. Stay calm, Hwa.." Hongjoong says in a soft voice. I hum quietly not being able to say anything else.

In ten minutes Hongjoong has already arrived. He rushed to calm me down. He dried the tears and hugged me. Made me feel safe, as always in this situation. Currently he's making us tea in the kitchen. I'm just staring emptily at a wall without really thinking anything in the moment. My mind wanders off to millions of thoughts. I feel the space next to me dip down as Hongjoong sits down. He places the mugs down onto the coffee table. I feel the younger's hand in my hair. "Hwa... It calmed down a bit.." He says. I nod slightly still deep in thought.

I am an adult... I should be over this. The event can affect me forever. Should I talk about it to someone.. Hongjoong knows but he can't really help me other than try and calm down when the panic strikes.

"Seonghwa.." Hongjoong calls out to me. "Yeah?" I say. The red headed male laughs at me. "You should drink your tea, before it gets cold." "Oh...Yeah.."
