Taehyung had heard what the others wanted mostly out of coincidence. He had come down really fast to get water when he had heard them talking about finally beginning their training. Perhaps, Taehyung had taken their lack of training fore granted. He sighed heavily. The Hyungs wanted to start their training in the next few days. Something that had him Jimin and and Jungkook rather anxious, because after all once they were finished they would probably be thrown out, but at the same time they were rather excited. In part because they were excited to get the show on the road. The group had originally taken them in to train them in the first place. The fact that it had been three days now and they had shown no sign of taking them to train had really set them on edge because that was really all that they had been taken in for. At least, to their knowledge. There had to be more to it that they were not aware of but they were not entirely certain as to what that was, and for now, they were content with just trying to train.
"So." Jimin said, dragging the word out to show his hesitance in broaching this next topic of conversation. He did not really want to get into it, but he had to. Really, these talks were always difficult. Yet they did them, because their capability and survival depended on them more oft then not. He needed to because they needed to have a plan to execute. They may be many things but overly reckless at times, was not one of those times. They needed to have a decent course of action before they went and started going to training. They could not really just randomly hope things worked for the best, because...well things never did. Besides, these were not just your run of the mill foster homes, this was BangTan.
They had already really been pushing their luck with the members. From how they had been treating them, to pressing their buttons and getting on their nerves. So far, nothing too bad had happened. None of them were quite ready to concede that nothing would happen however, they all knew how these things went. Thy just needed to be pushed a little more.
"BangTan wants to begin training us." Taehyung finished when it became rather obvious that Jimin was not going to. Stating the obvious, it was the best way to begin these conversations, it really got them going, especially with the more uncomfortable topic.
"How do we know for sure that they are not just trying to trick us again?" Jungkook asked, a stuffed animal that Hobi had shoved at him laying on his feet, arms wrapped around the pink thing.
Hobi had bought them all their own stuffed animals, and while Jimin and Taehyung had initially argued the point, the look in Jungkook's eyes had made them relent quite quickly. Of course, the dark look in Hobi's eyes was part of it, but mostly, the wide hopeful glint in Jungkook's own as he looked at the stuffed animals really pushed the point. They had each been allotted one, but in all reality they were all basically Jungkook's. The boy was a tough teenage, but he did like soft and cute things, like stuffed animals for instance. It was not exactly very often but, it was good enough. They never really had the ability to give the baby between them things like this.
Jungkook was not one to ask for...anything either. He knew that they were not able to provide things such as that, and he felt bad asking for them. He would never ask something of them, always waiting for them too be willing to give. Yet another issue from a few of the homes that he had been in. Oh, if Taehyung and Jimin were able to destroy everyone that had dared to hurt Jungkook...but they had already hoped for such things and realized that it was simply not to be done. There were too many mitigating factors and they were not stupid enough to want to go to jail....
"I doubt it. On the other hand it may be." Taehyung admitted. "We do not know what sort of things they may do to toy with us."
"We need to figure out what we plan to do." Jimin said sharply, cutting the contemplations short. "Whether it is just a thing they are doing to toy with us, it will be important to be ready." Jungkook nodded gravely.
"You're right, Jimin Hyung, we cannot risk giving more information than is strictly necessary. Who knows what could happen. We are already at risk of them trying to induct us."
"You mean induct you?" Taehyung said with a wry smile. "You are the hacker genius." He said fondly, ruffling the boy's hair. Jungkook ducked underneath Tae's hand and straightened his hair with a dark glare to the other.
"It isn't like you two are any less capable." He grumbled. Jimin gave a small laugh and agreed. Jungkook pouted, grasping the plush and squeezing it. "But back to being serious. I think we should specifically hide our other abilities. I mean, our elemental abilities are kinda...already out there. Too late to hide those." Jimin hummed.
"What level of control do you guys think we should portray?" He asked.
Oh, yes. That was right. They needed to figure out a lot. Jungkook sighed heavily.
"Well, we want them to think that we have a lot of things to work on, but the problem is that we already showed a lot of control." The three of them stared at each other before simultaneously groaning.
"That is right. At the warehouse." Jimin muttered.
"Well, we need to catalogue what they know. We know that they know Jungkook has air and fire, and that one of use has fire." Taehyung said, biting his lower lip.
"No," Jungkook said with a small shake of his head. "I doubt they are blind. They know we all three have fire, but they don't know about the others. The Shielding and the Diverse Consciousness, and my Healing. They don't know about those. At least, not yet." Jungkook muttered to the other two. "The fire took forms and didn't lash out at them. Either in the warehouse, or when we saw them disposing of that body on the street." Jimin's eyes widened.
"Shit, you are right. They may be a bit oblivious to some matters but they certainly are not stupid. They would have figured that out." Taehyung rolled his eyes at Jimin's words.
"Either way, that seems to be all that they know. They don't know anything else besides our fire, and Jungkook's air."
"They don't need to either." Jungkook said in response to Taehyung. He scooted closer to the other two. "Think about it. It is rare to be a wielder at all. We showed them fire, and I showed them air, but why would they think that we have more than that? It is not common. Furthermore, they may suspect, but they have no way to prove it." He looked away from the glittering eyes of his Hyungs.
"You are right, but I am sure they will catch on soon enough." Taehyung said. It was inevitable, they did not get to where they were by being oblivious and stupid. They probably knew a lot more than what the Maknaes would wish. It would not really surprise them much. They all glanced at the door. "Jimin?" The eldest of them nodded, catching onto what they wanted, having been together for so long, it was not hard.
Jimin inhaled softly, closed his eyes, and placed his fingertips on the floor. A flash of silver peeked from under his lids, and when he opened them...they were silver.
