They all dreaded what they may see in that file. They did not want to look. They did not want to see what sort of things the precious boys upstairs could have dealt with, gone through, been through together and without each other. This file was like the summation of everything. It seemed sort of...invading to actually even contemplate reading the file. Still, the curiosity won out in the end, and Hobi snatched it and flipped it open to read.
There were sections. For each of them there was a section, a bound bit of papers. Jin tentatively took one from Hobi's shaking fingers, and slowly, they passed the file around, to each of them, until every one of them had read what was there, shaking, pale faced, and furious.
The horrifying truths which were laid within these pages was almost too much for them to swallow. The terror which those three cheerful, but cautious boys had gone through. The things which they had suffered.
Of the three, nobody really knew who necessarily had it worse. They all had dealt with such horrible things. Things which, really, nobody should ever even think about having to deal with, much less having to actually deal with them. These were children, children who had been wronged so many times it made them feel sick to their stomach.
Suga, Suga was practically fuming, eyes lit with a dark fury, ready to go all out genocide on a killing spree in defense of these boys. Hobi sighed heavily, placing the files down, nervously arranging them, each of them lost within their own thoughts.
Jimin, the sweet boy, being basically abandoned, left to fend for himself? Such a cruel thing to happen to such a sweet child. His constant movement, the starvation he had been forced to endure, the physical battery. It was horrible, even more so when they considered how young the youth had been. They were glad that he had Jungkook, and Taehyung now. He also had them to stand up for him, they would be damned if they would not do something in his defense should the time come, and it be necessary. Thought the files still said that Jimin had some problems with eating certain things, and loud voices, he had majorly improved since meeting the other two.
Taehyung. The youthful, joyful bundle of mischievous energy. Abused by his family, sending his father to the hospital in self-defense. It was enough to break any young child. However, despite this the other boy had pulled through. Going through many placements, yet still remaining in control, mostly. He had anger problems, could become volatile in seconds, and tended to be violent if needed. Meeting Jungkook and Jimin had done wonders for the other, and the changes were obvious. Though apparently he was still known to get into bouts of incredible anger, it happened less often with the others now in his life. When he did, Jungkook and Jimin often managed to calm him down in moments, before something really bad happened.
Jungkook. The youngest. The four had to really calm themselves when it came to reading this file. Perhaps it was because Jungkook was the youngest, perhaps it was his sweet nature, and even his genuine disposition. Still. Jungkook had been ditched, abused by several of his placements. He had been treated basically as though he were nothing better than a slave for some of his placements, and often would receive over the top punishments for simplistic things. It was outrageous. Even now, the file claimed that Jungkook could have hard times talking back, going against suggestions made by those who were in a higher position than him, tended to be overly passive, similar to Jimin, and unlike Taehyung, both Jimin and Jungkook would only physically fight if it was the benefit of one of the other three. It was concerning, yes, but Jungkook it would seem, had also gotten better at managing these things. He used to be incredibly introverted, but hanging around with Jimin and Taehyung, two extroverts, really seemed to help him expand himself.
Over all, the contents of the file were disturbing. None of them really knew what to do. Though Suga's suggestion of hunting down, tracking, and torturing everyone who had ever hurt the three precious youths upstairs had, contrary to the popular route of things ,been legitimately considered as a viable option. All four of them were furious with how things were made out. It was clear that the system had not really cared just how badly these three were being treated as long as they were put somewhere. It was a major flaw in the system. Not that they cared much for that.
As of now, the only thing that they could really do was to try and focus on how to help the three. It was difficult enough being in the system, but having to be bounced around over and over and over again, and them carrying the knowledge that they have supernatural powers that nobody can possibly know about otherwise it can possibly get them killed or turned into scientist lab rats and experiments from the government? Definitely trauma inducing.
They were now determined, however. They would They would increase their control, and their understanding of their powers. In turn, they would let them know more about them. Suga was right, these boys would never trust them unless they showed them something that they would be able to use if they needed to.
"Alright." Namjoon said softly. "We need to help them. I know we were already planning on doing that but just looking through this file..." He trailed off. The others nodded. It was pretty obvious that none of them had really prepared for this. Of all of them, Hobi seemed to be the one who really was not nearly as surprised as the others.
"They need us to help them, to give them stability. So that is what we will do." HObi said simply, as though that were it. And for him, it was. He did not really care what the other group members thought. These boys were going nowhere. Not if he had a say in it, and he did have a say. Quite a big one.
