They had spent the entire night worried sick. The three youngsters had left and had not returned. Despite their vast and desperate attempts at trying to figure out exactly where they had gone, they had failed in all aspects of that drastically. Though they were not exactly pleased with the fact that the three had snuck out and stayed out past curfew, they were more worried then anything else. After all, they could not find them, and despite pulling out all of the stops that they had, the boys still remained mysteriously absent from their eyes. It was unnerving and the fact that the boys had managed to hide themselves so thoroughly, well, it was actually quite impressive. Suga had mentioned that they had to be somewhat skilled to be capable of hiding themselves from all the CCTVs, and he had said that before this. They should have guessed that the the boys had been capable of pulling something like this considering Suga's words previously, they just had not really thought that they would try and break the only rule that they had been given the very first night.
Though, NamJoon and Jin both supposed that they should have expected something like that to happen. After all the kids were clearly pretty willful at the best of times. They had suspected that they would try and break the rules that they were given, which was why Jin had proposed only giving them a curfew. It would make it easier, because there would be no rules to really break if they did not really give the boys rules in the first place. That and Jin knew full well that the boys would probably be more resentful then anything else if they tried to impose a ton of rules on them rather then trying to let them be a bit more free then they had been before.
Although, Suga was thinking that he should have expected that they would be more then willing to break curfew. Unlike Jin and NamJoon, he had expected them to break the rules that they had been given quite early. It was a tactic. Best to know the limits as early as possible before trying anything else. By breaking rules one learned quite a bit about the people that you were staying with. Although Suga was not entirely certain that going full out and breaking the rule so surely was a wise choice, and probably not something that he would do should he have reversed the situation, he supposed that he could understand the mindset that they were coming from. He was even more annoying with himself for not having guessed that they would probably break any curfew which was imposed upon them after realizing what time the orphanage that they had been in previously closed and the curfew that it had. The boys would have broken the curfew even trying to get to the orphanage with as late as it had been when they had aided them in the warehouse. So, Suga was rather angry with himself for not realizing that them breaking any type of curfew was fully within the realm of possibility.
Hobi, he did not really even bother worrying. Furthermore, he could not quite understand why the others were so worried about the youngsters either. Sure, they were pretty young, and sure BTS was their guardians now, but the reality was that they had been on their own for quite some time. They had been through quite a bit and to expect them to suddenly conform to something, no matter how large or little it was, it was incredibly unlikely given that they never conformed to anything even if it was in their best interests. They refused to erase themselves to fit the narrative that was shoved upon them, and whilst Hobi both found that fascinating and admirable, it also meant that it was quite obvious to see that they would break the rules. Hobi was not really concerned with them being out so late. They had broken the curfews before, if any of their previously placements were to go by. While it was hard not to dislike the previous places and the previous people that the boys had spent with, one thing did remain rather consistent, and it was their disregard for rules, and especially a curfew. If they were out late, they rarely came back at any time during the night. Whilst the Orphanage had claimed that the boys never broke curfew there, Hobi would wager that they had, they just were never caught doing it. Which was two rather different things. Furthermore, the boys had been on their own for quite some time. They were more then able to handle themselves. If worst came to worst they had their powers.
Granted, perhaps revealing their magic was not exactly the best route to go, but it was a possibility, and Hobi knew that it was one they would be more then willing to use if there was no other way for them to get out of any trouble. They had seen the boys do it before, and even though it did not quite end well, they had not shied away from using it when they had felt threatened. Hobi knew that they would be alright truly. He just could not understand why it was that the others could not seem to see the same thing.
The boys were not mere children. Perhaps they were rather vulnerable, and timid, but when it came down to the protecting of themselves and each other, Hobi would wager they would kill a man just to keep them and the little family that they had built together safe. It was rather fascinating to see their closeness. Wonderful thing it was, to watch them and see how fiercely it was that they protected one another.
The group had only been around the three boys for a short time, and yet it was quite obvious that they were far more then any of them had expected. Perhaps it was because they were so young, perhaps it was something else. One thing remained true, Jin was going to flip when they finally came back after an entire night of worry.
