"I figured out what is going on with our powers." The words caught Jin, Namjoon, and Hoseok off gaurd, each spontaneously turning towards Yoongi.

"Did you have to figure it out so early?" Jin grumbled, flipping a pancake on the stove, nursing the finger that he had burned with Yoongi's shocking entrance and announcement. Yoongi just rolled his eyes, ignoring the eldest's frustration. It was something that needed to be shared sooner rather then later, he had information, and this information was important. He was rather petulant that they were not more excited for it.

"I tell you that I finally figured out a question that we have been having since they first came, and you are upset that I am going to give it early in the morning instead of at a later time?" Yoongi scoffed, folding his arms defensively against his chest. "I guess I can just wait, after all, nobody seems all that interested."

"That is not what Jin meant Yoon, and you know it." Came Hoseok's scolding voice. "Come on, sit down, get a plate, and let us know what is going on. I am sure we will all be grateful for this mystery to be solved. It has been two months already, and I for one am getting tired of the constant questioning about it." Yoongi sighed, dropped the door behind him to close and sliding up to Hoseok, pulling a plate to him and dropping into the seat. Hoseok smiled at him, glad, and turned back to his own food. Jin grumbled but everyone else just ignored him. The eldest was in a bad mood since the three refused to come to breakfast. They were getting comfortable, at least that was what Yoongi was telling them. It was still hard to say that when they refused to do something so simple as eat with the rest of the group. How hard was it to partake in a breakfast? Perhaps they were still nervous about the dinner that they would be getting later, and that was why.

"They did not stop our magic, they just alter it slightly." Yoongi revealed, watching in enjoyment as Namjoon snapped his fingers finally excited that they had gotten an answer. "It isn't enough to be entirely noticeable at first, and so we thought they their were eliminating our magic somehow, but that is not the case, they are just altering how it works. It isn't major, just slightly, but that is why we have been so on edge lately. Our magic isn't disappearing against them, it just isn't working how it normally does. For instance, Namjoon's magic didn't cause them to forget everything, just the body...they can't remember, at least not at first." They all recalled a few days ago when the three and questioned them about it. They had been surprised that it was finally being brought up, but the group had been honest about it. It was a rival that was causing issues, and the three just shrugged it off. it would seem that the magic did not have a long term affect on them either, which was also interesting. Still. They were glad to know it wasn't permenent. That conversation had led them to becoming slightly closer than before.

"I want to ask them to join at dinner." Namjoon blurted. Jin rolled his eyes, dropping the plate of pancakes on the table, before wrapping a few for each of their guests.

"Are you sure that is a good idea Joonie?" He asked gently. NamJoon nodded.

"Why wait? They are getting comfortable, at least more so than before, just as Yoongi said. We know they were hiding their magic, but we figured that part out already, so it isn't really a surprise anymore, and honestly I don't see the point in waiting. We are training them, teaching them, and if we can start training them in some of the more intricate ways that we opperate, sooner rather than later. We have already been told by their teachers that there isn't anything more they can teach them. They've just been hanging out each lesson. There is no reason to not ask. Besides, they are getting more wary as to why we are keeping them around now that we have fulfilled our end of the bargin. This way they aren't as edgy." Yoongi did not speak. He was not sure how they would react, but he had to agree, it was better to do it now, than wait. All waiting would do was cause more issues. It had been like that for him too. He knew that these teens were not him, but it was hard not to draw the parallels.

Jimin was surprised at the level of fanfare the dinner was, and he could tell Taehyung and Jungkook were also taken aback by it too. They had stayed in their room most of the day, Jimin talking to Taehyung and Jungkook about what they should do when they were asked about joining the group. Jimin had been against it, but Jungkook wanted to. After constant back and forth, during which they eavesdropped plenty of the members of the gang, they eventually decided to agree. It was not as though they had anything to lose, but they did have a lot to gain Including access, and a bit of stability, something Jimin knew they all longed for deeply.

Sure, they were anxious. It was unnerving becoming a group of gang members. Adding them into it, but it served some major attractions to them. They would not be alone, they would have a certain level of immunity, and even more so...they would not go back to the orphanage. Something all of them desperately wanted. They were tired of constantly having that fear. At least this way they would have something they had never had before, and hopefully, they would never have to wonder about again. A family, a sense of security, and they were all to be together. Which was a blessing in disguise.

The question came earlier than the there were anticipating. Nor was it Namjoon who asked it. From what they had eavesdropped on, there had been an entire plan. They would wait until before the desert course, after everyone was full and content, and then Namjoon would spring the question, with Jin and Yoongi working to settle them if they got riled up.

Instead, it was Yoongi who blurted it out, and it was before they even got their menus. The waiter had left to grab them and he suddenly just...said it.

"Would you like to join us? We won't make you kill people," It was blunt. Straightforwards, and took them a solid minute to actually register, before Jungkook finally agreed, leading to them all nodding and happy faces all around.

It was strange. They thought, to feel so happy over something. It was strange to know they would not be thrown out, strange now to have money. Their own place. Their own lives. To have people that cared about them.

it was all strange but...they were not just the three of them anymore. They did not have to be.
