Jimin's power of diverse consciousness was...interesting to say the least. His eyes glowed silver, and everything that he saw around him was slightly tinged in silver. The Hyungs were in the kitchen and the living room. Yet again, Jin Hyung and Yoongi hyung were both in the kitchen whilst NamJoon and Hobi were both in the living room. Jimin suspected that Jin and Yoongi were likley the two main ones that dealt with food distribution and creation in the household. They had not really bothered to really pay attention to the dynamics of the household, something which Jimin was determined to rectify. It was unlikely that they were going to be able to leave anytime soon, and for some reason, Jimin did not really want to pull Jungkook away to another group home. They may not exactly be the safest here, but at the least they had a shelter over their head and they were together, which really was the best any of them could ask for.
"What do we do if they refuse?" Hobi asked, clearly worried. Suga scoffed, glaring back at him from where he was stirring on the stove.
"Hobi-ah, do not worry about that, they are not going to refuse to train. Even if they did it would not be too hard to convince them either way, so do not worry about them refusing. They would not do that, and they likely know that they need some sort of training anyways."
"Exactly how are we going to train elementals though?" NamJoon muttered under his breath. Hobi glanced at him, breath catching. He stared at NamJoon as though he had presented something that was inconceivable. Sharply turning to the other two in the kitchen, who were both looking at Hobi and NamJoon with confused looks on their faces, he clarified what NamJoon had said.
"How are we going to train elementals?" He asked, staring at the other two. "None of us are elementals, we know only the textbook things about them, we have never met them before. What are we going to do? How are we going to approach this? It is obvious that they have a good deal of control, and they are probably going to try and hide that, which is totally fair, I would too, but that also means we need to figure out what exactly it is. All of them have elemental magic, all of them have fire magic and then you have Jungkook-ah who has air magic as well..." Hobi sighed slumping back into the couch, contemplative. "Since we do not know anything about elemental magic we may have to ask one of the others."
A sharp clang stopped them sharp. They stared at Jin, who had a dark look in his eyes. NamJoon cowered backwards, even though the look was not directed at him. Jimin, well, he was quite surprised to see Jin like this, and surprised at how triggered he seemed to be over something so simplistic. He thought Hobi had a point. It was going to be hard for nonelementals to train elementals.
"No," Jin said simply. Shrugging his shoulders when the other's tried to interject his point he just shook his head. "No, do you really think they are not going to wonder why it is that we, all of a sudden, are asking about elemental magic? At best, we find someone that we trust and introduce the boys to them, but in case you have not noticed they are not even comfortable with us. How are we going to expect them to be comfortable around yet another mafia member, that they do not know?"
Jimin's breath caught in shock. Jin was...was standing up for them? For their worries and comfort? He turned, the silver waves wrapping around the room as something pierced him. Jin was...helping them. He was worried that they did not trust them, worried that they were uncomfortable, he had been downright terrified when they had not returned but even then had kept himself from shouting at them. Was this...genuine? Jimin did not know, he wanted to say that it was. It was not as though they realized that they were eavesdropping on these conversations, so it may very well be a genuine reaction that he had towards them. The thought shocked him. The mere...possibility was astounding.
"We should send someone closer to their age."
"We are their age, Hyung," NamJoon rolled his eyes. Yoongi cut a glare to NamJoon, shutting him up quite effectively.
"While you are right in that regard, we are still older than them. NamJoon, you are still a good two years older than Jimin. So, yeah, were are around their age. But we are not their age. They area anxious with us, partially because we are adults, we are above the age of majority. If we sent someone their age, they are more likely to be receptive."
"And who do we know that has elemental magic around their age?" NamJoon huffed. He settled back against the couch cusions, arms crossed over his chest, pouting. The other three pointedly stared at him, waiting. Jimin glanced and noticed Jin was counting on his fingers and when all fingers went down Nam Joon suddenly jumped up eyes bright with a sort of fierce determination as he shouted a 'I'll be back' before rushing out of the door. Jin sighed and nudged Suga.
"Go with him please," Suga groaned but nodded and moved, chasing after NamJoon.
"Are we really going to drag them into this?" Hobi hissed, his dark gaze cutting to Jin who could only sigh heavily.
"Look, we need their help, and if they are willing to help, then I see no reason why to stop them from doing it." He shrugged, his gaze a bit torn. "I know they have been asking to help us more and more, and while we are trying to keep them from the major things, we can not keep them out of it forever. It is a simple, but effective way to keep them from feeling as though we are purposefully trying to hide them away."
"They are not...."
"Hobi, we cannot keep them hidden forever, otherwise they are going to get rebellious. You know how they are. This is a way that we can keep them safe and yet also ensure that they do not feel as though we are hiding them. You know it as well, so be quiet and come over here to help me with this sauce. Suga was supposed to do it but he needs to help NamJoon."
-
Jimin gasped, head flying back as the silver drained from his eyes. He blinked, somewhat dazed as normal before letting his eyes adjust to his current surroundings.
"JinHyung is our biggest ally," Was all he said, before snatching Jungkook and curling into the boy.
