"Something is up." Yoongi muttered to Namjoon, his dark eyes trained on the three youngest that they had finally managed to drag out of the house. It had been a huge effort on their parts. The three had been stubborn, and not wanted to leave. That in itself was not exactly surprising, as they undoubtedly did not want anything to do with large crowds, and Jin's smothering when it came to shopping and the long hours that they were bound to be stuck in the mall, but there was...something odd about the entire thing. Perhaps they were not really used to shopping just in general, but the realization hit Yoongi like a ton of bricks slamming into his skull. Something more was at play here, and they had no idea what it was.
He would have to look into that later, because he should not be able to sense such things from the boys, but he was. Whenever something was off, he knew it, faster then the others, but that usually only happened with dangerous situations, and not once had the feeling been acquainted with danger when it came to the maknaes. Just these small feelings that drew him to conclusions. Nothing dangerous, but still odd. It would seem their powers worked differently when it came to these three, which was something that they would need to look into more closely when they had the chance, but for now he knew that something was wrong.
He was not blind, after all, and the three were definitely way too tense. Though normally, he would just say that they did not like being in such a foreign place, for some reason Yoongi suspected there was more to play here then just that, however, he was not entirely certain what that was. They kept looking around, as though searching for something. Again, this could be explained away by the fact that they were in an unfamiliar environment, and as such Yoongi was uncertain why he was so sure that there was something else at play. Even though he had no evidence to state otherwise, Yoongi knew to trust his feelings on this one. After all, intuition was a gift of his, though it was normally tested in times of danger. He would trust his feeling on this one, and he was more hen happy to say that they were acting far too nervous.
Though, he digressed, he would have to talk to them about it later, because there was nothing that he would be able to do about it at the current moment. Jin was dragging them along from store to store to store and attempting to get a feel for their style of clothes. It was far more difficult to draw the information from three teenagers as one may actually believe. While Yoongi was more then aware of the fact that teenagers could be difficult at the best of times, it would seem as though these youngsters were really testing Jin's patience, and Jin was probably the most patient of all of them.
It was rather interesting to see, though he would admit given that Jin typically was the person who got what they wanted, if not because he was more patient and stubborn then the four of them combined, then he would pull out the big eyes and watery cheeks and NamJoon would cut in given that their leader was weak for their eldest member. Jin was the nicest and most patient of all of them, in many aspects. Yet it was obvious that the three that they had taken under their wing had no interest in being compliant and actually answering any questions that Jin asked when it came to their preferences. Jin was trying to be nice, any human could see that, asking them, taking them from store to store, watching them closely as he let them wander around. Waiting to see what their eyes would linger on before sending NamJoon or Hobi to sneakily go buy it for them.
Well, that is what he WOULD do, should the three actually be normal and hint to wanting anything. In all reality, it was like trying to figure out what paint a metal door wanted to be painted. Black or red, there was no communication from one end. The three stayed together, never wandered about unless dragged somewhere, and Yoongi thought it was quite endearing to see the ever so composed Jin slowly begin to lose his undying patience. Even the watery disposition and pleading eyes had little affect on the trouble-makers. If anything, it served to simply amuse them further.
Though Yoongi would hesitate to say that they were goading Jin, it definitely seemed that, despite the anxious atmosphere that they posessed, they did try to at least appear at ease whenever Jin was around. One way, apparently, that they felt it was possible to do that was by goading the older man into loosing his patience. Either that or they just wanted to see how long it would take.
By the looks of it, the three were truly on a roll, and Jin was getting more and more exasperated with every attempt of his slighted. He turned dark eyes to Hobi, honing into the other person, and gave him a look that fully suggested he either get them to admit what they want, or figure something out because Jin was just done with trying at this point.
Yoongi felt that the entire thing was rather humorous. It was not exactly often that Jin lost his cool, and so this was a rather rare sight to see, and seeing the three youngest exchange small smirks with each other told Yoongi that they had done this on purpose.
"Giving up is not something you usually do." Yoongi baited, almost laughing out loud when the other gave him a death glare, crossing his arms about his chest.
"They won't talk to me. I do not know what it is." Jin said with a pout. "Perhaps they just do not like me." the eldest said with a resigned sigh watching as Hobi began snatching clothes off the racks. "Clearly,"
Yoongi stared at Jin with wide eyes. This was the first time he had really seen the other so insecure. It was...not something that he liked, Yoongi found. He had thought that before was simply something humorous, but it was clear that there was something wrong.
"Why do yo think that?" Yoongi asked. For all that they may pretend otherwise, or try not to show too much, Jin, and the rest of them honestly, were very much attached to these youngesters. They had taken them in, and adopted them after all, that was not something they would do for just anyone. Sure, they had their own motivations for doing such things, but they still worried and cared for the three baby teens.
"Well," Jin stated sighing once again. "Just look at how much at east they are with Hobi. I tried everything to get them to try and tell me what kind of clothes that they liked, but I got nowhere. In less then ten minutes Hobi has a whole cart loaded of clothes for them." Jun sulked.
"I am fairly sure that is because he threatened them, Jinnie." Yoongi assured the eldest. "You approach is to be gentle and kind. Trust me, sometimes that will work, and you are going to be the first person that they come to if they need help because of it."
Jin's mood slowly began to lift hearing Yoongi say such things, after all, if anyone would know what the kids were thinking, it would be Yoongi.
