Felix struggled to figure out how to word himself. Furthermore this was not necessarily a factual situation, merely insubstantial, but he also knew that his observations were typically taken seriously, and were assessed with a leveled head, to ensure the validity. He was quite observant, there was a reason he was the infiltrator of Stray Kids. As much as others may try to say otherwise, Felix was best suited to studying people and it came in quite handy at the best of times. That was why he was sure that he was right, but also nervous to admit his thoughts and findings to the others. In the end, though, he just shrugged, trying to release the nerves of what he was going to do in order to focus on the task at hand. This could help them later, and he knew that because of such he had to tell them what he had seen. It would be unfair to do otherwise, and unjust at the same time.
"They are not using their powers, at least not that I can tell, but have you noticed how they are doing Jisung's drills?" Yeonjun gave a light laugh, but the other three could clearly hear the annoyance flooding the tone as he did so. The others stayed silent, allowing Yeonjun to stop laughing and look at Felix with a dark and assessing gaze. It was unnerving to be looked at like that, at the least. He weathered the gaze, nonetheless, knowing that his point was important to get across.
"Felix, as much as I adore you, and I truly do, I unforunately cannot read minds." Yeonjun tilted his head slightly. "I would greatly appreciate if you could be a tad bit more specific in what you mean, rather than being vague and leaving me to attempt to pick up whatever miniscule meanings are left behind in the way." Felix huffed, rolling his eyes and folding his arms across his chest.
"I..." He shook his head. He was right to some extent. Felix conceded. His words were a bit too vague for anyone to really understand what he meant, and so he merely sighed out and amended his sentence. "I mean that fire elements are, from what we understand, known to be able to give rather large bursts of energy, or low simmering versions of it. They are not tired, not anxious, not even really huffing, although they may have played at being so, they were not truly exhausted at all." Felix glanced at the others before continuing onwards, not wanting to get scolded by Yeonjun again. As much as it may not seem like it, Yeonjun was the eldest of his group for a reason. He was terrifying when he wanted to be and his scoldings were always a healthy mix of sarcasm, layered with mocking intent, and sharpened to an edged knife that pierced straight through its recipient. Felix thought it was a good thing that Soobin had been made the leader of the TXT gang. "That means that they have already managed to control their fire element, at least the ones that do have it and I do suspect quite highly that all three of them have it, to the point where it is at least a good level 4."
"Max level," Yugyeom breathed out softly. Felix nodded. "Now we all know that they have some underlying magic that we are not entirely aware of, and Jungkook at the least has air element as well, from what NamJoon has told us, and they seemed to be able to resist the groups' magic, though how exactly is a bit confusing, we should look into that, or at least look into some theory behind it. I doubt that their magic does not work on the group at all, but it probably does not work as it normally would, which is where we are going to have to figure things out." He sighed at that, it was going to be rather complicated on that end.
"You aren't wrong." Felix muttered. "And beyond that, somehow, someway, they have already trained themselves to have extreme control over it, at least, as extreme as one can get such a volatile element under control." Fire was a complex element, of course, and none could ever have true complete control over any elemental power. They were powered by emotions, after all, and nobody ever had complete control over their emotions either.
"Fire is the most dangerous element, and yet they reached a level of control rarely seen...well ever, even before the element was split." Jisung muttered under his breath. "I am rather surprised that we are training them at all given that." Jisung glanced towards where the three were still muttering to themselves huddled in a circle away from them, ensuring that they could not read their lips and figure out what was being spoken on.
"I don't know that NamJoon and the others are aware of the level of control that they have." Felix admitted with a shrug. "Otherwise it does not make sense as to why they would have called us here. It is a waste of time, and resources, and effort. So no matter what I do not think they are entirely aware of just the amount of control the boys have over their powers."
"Should we tell them about it?" Jisung asked. The four glanced towards each other. That was the question was it not? To tell them or not to tell them. If they told them, they could be making a mistake, considering they still had much to learn, and whilst it was obvious that they had control over their fire elemental power, it was not sure that they had the same amount of control over any of their other powers, whatever they may be. Not to mention...there were still a lot of questions regarding their training as a whole, how much did they have being the foremost one.
"I don't think so," Yugyeom said, electing himself as the decision maker in this regard. The others were grateful. Of all of them, Yugyeom would be able kto get away with that sort of decision the best and the easiest. "At least not yet, of course we will, but not at the moment. There are other things to assess before we declare their training fully complete, and it would be unfair to speak on the fact that they have mastered one thing when we know that there are other powers lingering under the surface that we may not be entirely aware of but know are there."
