Jin had run some coffee and drink and set them on the table before rushing the rest of the Gang Hyungs out of the room, determined that it would be apparently best for them to get to know their newest teachers. Yugyeom, YeonJun, Jisung, and Felix sat across from Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook. They all carried mugs, holding them tightly towards their bodies, not really sure where to begin the conversation, or what to even say. What could they say? JiSung, the one who seemed to be rather outspoken, was no longer really talkative now that the introductions had been made. Everyone sat, nervous, and not really sure what they should say, what they should do. It was a unique situation, the three of the maknae line supposed, but even still, it was frustrating not knowing what to do. So they just sat in silence, one could practically hear the crickets considering nobody was saying anything, just sitting tense.
Jungkook moved forwards a bit, humming softly to himself. He glanced at Taehyung and Jimin, who looked at him carefully, as though questioning what he was going to do, but Jungkook did not really know himself. He just knew that he did not want this weird and tense silence anymore, it was rather frustrating. He would prefer that they...do not do that. Though, that meant talking, and he was not entirely sure that he wanted to do that either. What would he even say? If he did figure out what to say, how would he know that it was the right thing to say? The entire situation sort of threw him a bit. He did not really know what to do. He did not like any of this. He wished, momentarily, that Jin was in the room with them. At least then they would be talking. Or rather, Jin would be talking and it would ease the atmosphere. There was no room for wishing, though, as Jin was not in the room with them and Jungkook was definitely not going to be calling him into the room.
"So, what should we call you?" Jungkook finally spoke out. He figured it would probably be best to get the formalities out of the way as soon as possible. He did not know if it would actually do anything in regards to their tense situation, but he figured it could not do much worse. If anything, at the very minimum they may feel more comfortable knowing that they now knew how they were supposed to be addressing everyone. It would give them a sense of understanding of where they sort of stood with each other.
"Well, I am older than you, so Hyung is fine," YugYeom said with a small shrug of one shoulder. "Felix, and Jisung are all close in age to Jungkook, Yeonjun is a bit older." He supplied with ease when he figured that the others may hesitate to do so.
"You can call me Hyung, Jungkook," YeonJun said hastily, before he lost the confidence to do so. He was still under the influence of the tense atmosphere, nobody really knowing what to say to each other. First time meetings were always a bit...complicated after all. Jungkook gave him a smile as he did so, which caused him to relax a bit, falling backwards into the couch once more.
"You may as well just call me and Sungie casually." Felix said simply, to which Jisung stared at him but eventually relented. They were so similar in age it was useless to do so. It would be pointless to try and keep honorifics, and sort of tedious in Felix's opinion, though that may be him still trying to get used to them.
"Oh, okay then," Jungkook said with a hesitant smile. he was not sure if he should, but he had been given permission. He was not used to calling anyone other than Jimin and Taehyung like that though. It was only really with Taehyung that he felt comfortable dropping all honorifics with besides that. He was not sure that he was ready to do that, but he supposed he could just...avoid the honorific titles, as best as he could, which also meant sort of avoiding their names, but he could do it. He was sure of his abilities.
"I know that we are supposed to be your teachers, but please, try and think of us as...helpful friends." Jisung said with warm eyes. "We want to help you, but we don't want you to think that there has to be a distance."
"I will say, it is rather surprising that BangTan asked for our help." Taehyung tuned in when Yugyeom said that, turning to the other and leaning forwards in interest. That seemed to be information that he could use later, nudging Jimin to pay attention as he did so. Jimin did, turning his attention to Yugyeom, curious himself.
"What do you mean?" Jimin wondered, tilting his head slightly.
"Well, it is not often that they ask for help, much less agree to more people than they asked for. When I suggested that you three may benefit from Felix, Jisung, and Yeonjun's abilities as well, they agreed readily. It was rather shocking," Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook glanced at each other.
The others were going out of their general comfort zone for them. That was, rather surprising. They looked back towards Yugyeom. Jungkook venturing to speak once more he addressed the obvious question.
"Why is that? That they do not really like more than one..."
"Our sub groups. Every gang in Seoul, really in South Korea, has some sort of relation with BTS. Jisung is a part of NCT, the largest of us all with twenty-three members that are split into further subgroups. Four, actually, if we wanted to be specific. YeonJun is part of a far more recent group called TXT, and Felix is a part of Stray Kids, which is still, rather recent, but older than TXT in terms of how long they've been around."
Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook just stared at Yugyeom. They had not...thought about BangTan's allies.
