"'We'll be happy to go then?'" Tae hissed lowly as they finally made their way to the relative safety net of their room. So far, despite checking daily, there had been no trackers, no hint that they were being spied on. They still wondered when it was going to happen, knowing that they were likely just waiting for the guard to be down, but even still...it was almost impressive. They knew that the other foot would drop soon enough, and then they would be doomed to try and figure out how to save themselves from a rather sticky situation, but as of now they were just glad enough to not have to worry about having to code speak in their own damned room. They had done it before, and they would do it again...but it was exhausting and difficult. Most of the time, they would just wait until they were away in order to speak of their own volition, but Tae's powers exhausted him, especially have to continually go to and from the safe house and back. Not to mention, the mafia members were slowly beginning to catch on. They all could tell, it was no secret. The question was...when would they get confronted about it?

Hopefully, no time soon, because as Jungkook often said, they needed their quiet space. The safe house was a last resort, and they did not really like to have to use it, but it was a resort nonetheless, and they had definitely been using it more and more often considering they were stuck with a literal gang. Doing anything in the house ran a risk, and even leaving the house was difficult enough. None of the three would be surprised if they had suspected that one of them had some sort of shielding or invisibility power. After all, it was the only thing that really made sense. They had not had enough time to canvass the place for the CCTV or cameras before they had disappeared. Jimin personally wished he would have thought about that before okaying them to go spend the day and night at the safehouse upon arrival. Sure, they had needed the space, but at the same time, it caused them pretty heavy risks. Not that they were any more safe here, of course. Hell, the first time they had met them they were standing up to foreign influence and about to be killed, and the next time they had actually killed someone. They had seen the dead body and everything...

"What do you think they did with the body?" Jungkook questioned, cutting off Tae and Jimin's little glare off, and their verbal spat quite effectively. Both of them turned to stare at him in a confused daze. It would seem neither of them truly remember what landed them in this whole mess in the first place. Though I understand why they would forget. Jungkook thought to himself, still cursing his lapse of control in even asking the question in the first place. He should have just shut up, that would have been the more prudent thing to do. It was a rather hectic day. We see a dead body, we see the infamous gang surrounding it, they try to wipe our minds, and then I attack them...soon after we are shuttered up in their damned house and next thing you know breaking out of it the same day. Anyone could forget such things.

"What body?" Jimin questioned, his voice almost gentle. Jungkook wanted to groan. he was not loosing himself, and he had thought that Jimin would be able to remember if anyone. After all, he was the one that was overly paranoid about everything. Jungkook was almost sure that he never forgot a single thing, but of course he would start now. Because now Jungkook was curious about something that had happened weeks ago, and now of course Jimin would not remember. Naturally, he could not fault Tae or Jimin for not remembering, as he had thought before. Even he had forgotten temporarily. It was just, the events of the day, and his own thoughts, had reminded him. The body...the person that they had seen. Jungkook had not gotten a good look at the corpse, but he did wonder now. Perhaps he should look at news articles from that week. Surely there would be something on a mysterious death? Unless they had covered it up. His brain supplied quite unhelpfully.

"The body...the one that we saw when we ran into the gang while we were supposed to be at school, remember? They had been standing over a corpse. Then we ran away, and I ended up attacking them, then we got carted over to their house afterwards, before escaping, but what happened to the body? They didn't have the chance to get rid of it, and then we never really thought about it but I was just thinking while we were on our way up...after what Yoongi said about our being here for such a long time already, and then I began to think about what led us to even getting here in the first place and I remembered...there was a dead body. As far as I know, there hasn't been any major murders reported...so who was the dead guy?" Tae and Jimin seemed contemplative, which Jungkook took to be a good sign.

"That...That is actually quite a good question." Tae muttered to himself. "They even killed him themselves. I know this gang isn't exactly large, and they don't have that great of a connection with all the other gangs. It is clear that they are friends with some though, if our trainers are anything to go by, but definitely not enough that they could just call someone up...at least I don't think so."

"Do you think they handled it after they brought us here?" Jimin questioned softly...Tae hummed, dropping his body onto the bed and letting his head fall into the palm of his hand as he thought it over.

"I suppose that is possible...especially since all of us were kind of out of it, and not really paying attention. The biggest question though, was who that dude was."

"I don't know we should be getting involved in this," Jimin warned, noting the curious hint in Tae's voice. Things almost always went bad when Taehyung got curious, because the only things that got Taehyung curious ended in problems.

"Probably not, but I want to know. Jungkookie raised the question, I am just following through on it." Taehyung said lightly, and Jimin couldn't help but groan. There goes the rest of their peaceful night. And potentially the rest of the week.
