Jungkook was softly held between his two hyungs, who ensured that the boy felt no ill will gowards himself. It was quite common for the boy to feel horrible after having done something simple such as stopping them whilst they were fighting. It was a good deed which the other commonly does, and yet it was clear that the boy felt as though he was overstepping his boundaries each time he did so. They tried their utmost best to ensure that the child never felt guilty about coming to them or stopping them from doing something but...it was work in progress.
With Jungkook finally calmed, the three of them simply laid where th ey were, not bothering to get up into the beds, and slept where they lay. It was better that way. Together, together they were capable of anything and everything.

Yoongi wanted to throw something. Those boys had been through so much and suffered so far, and yet they were so sweet and innocent. It was hard to see how much they suffered just looking at the three of them.
"Hyung," Hobi whispered, voice soft and tender. "It is alright. Calm down." Yoongi sighed heavily, forcing his palms open. It was just...hard. the suffering which these children went through alone.
"Yeah, Yoongi hyung, they are with us now."
"Do you really think that will fix anything?" Yoongi asked, glare fixed on Namjoon, the last to utter words. Namjoon swallowed nervously at the look in Yoongi's eyes.
"Perhaps not," Namjoon admitted quietly. "But it does mean that they have us now. That is all we can focus on. The present." Jin hummed from his spot on the couch, not having moved.
"We need to be careful." He said. His voice cutting through Yoongi's potentially scathing response. Three pairs of eyes fixed on him all at once and Jin just smiled lightly.
"They are not used to being wanted. They will be testing us, and we need to take care with how we respond. Those three are powerful, and we have good intention, but the children are not going to see us as friends, but threats until we prove to them that we are otherwise." The other three paused at Jin's words, digesting them slowly.
"He is right," namjoon and Hobi looked at Yoongi with a side glance. The other simply shrugged. his shoulders. What else was there to say? Yoongi was speaking truth.
It was so commonly seen among runaways, orphans, foster youth. These kids more often than not were distrustful, wary, and distant. These were the best responses. Sure, they wanted to help them. It was their sole reason for finding them in the first place. However, that did not mean that they saw it in the same light. They could very easily see them as threatening, and one wrong move would destroy all they were attempting to build.
"I doubt that these kids got this far without being smart." Hobi agreed. Namjoon sighed heavily.
"Obviously. With the way that the government acts towards any with magic, or anything similar, it is a miracle that they made it this far. Let alone with the type of magic that they possess. Fire magic is incredibly volatile alone, which is why no one person has all that is necessary to possess and control fire. They must have found a way to remedy that." Namjoon looked at Yoongi. "No average person could do that."
Jin stood up from where he was sitting, once more drawing the attention towards him easily, capturing their attention as they waited for what he had to speak over."These boys. They can either be our friends, or our enemies. I don't want to hurt them. They have been through too much for me to do that to them. Be careful. The next few days are absolutely crucial. They will be testing us, and we may not understand how it why or for what reasons but it is correct. They will probably come up with some very off the wall tests just to see what we do and how we react. We must be prepared for that."
"So, basically," Hobi hesitantly began, glancing up at Jin. "Don't do anything without telling you?"
"Of course." Jin said simply. "These boys are not stupid, I have no doubt that their little tests already begun." Jin said with a shrug of his shoulders. Namjoon looked at Jin with wide eyes, mouth agape.
"That is why you told us not to put any bugs in their room." Jin nodded to Namjoon's assessment.
"They are not morons. They would undoubtedly check for them before they do anything if the care with which they avoided the CCTVs are any indication. They are very thorough. No matter how well we think they were hidden, they would have probably figured out where any bugs were."
