Okay so maybe they should have laid back on the you are free to go wherever you so desire as long as you are back by dusk rule that Jin had given the three orphans. of course, Jin was quite a kind person, and he saw no reason in locking the three boys up in the house, even if that was what the others would have wanted given the circumstances...Jin was quite a reasonable person, and he knew that even without the rule they would have snuck out anyways, and so it was best to just allow them some free reign rather than inevitably punishing them for breaking a rule, knowing that it was a rule that they would break...

Because they could not find them anywhere. They had looked, it was not a lack of searching. They had scoured the entire mansion and all over the grounds, they had called the guards and had them searching...the boys had dipped without so much as even informing them to let them know that they would be leaving them to do...whatever it was that they had decided to do. They had not even realized that the boys were gone and somewhere...who even knew where... until they had called for them and not heard any type of answer. At first, none of them had been particularly concerned, given the fact that the boys were new and probably just testing their authority a little bit, but Yoongi had been worried. The boys had not answered them, and they had called for them more than once. This had unnerved Yoongi just a little bit, because the boys were definitely not the type to go ignoring the calling of their names, them being summoned. He knew all manner of orphans and street kids, and Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook were not the ones to ignore the summoning of them unless there was a good reason not to, and they had no been given a good reason not to come when called, and so Yoongi had been worried.

It was reluctant. They had not wanted to really invade the boy's sapce, especially since everyone but Yoongi was convinced that they were in the room and just testing them, but they had knocked on the door first, and received no answer. this had Yoongi practically vibrating, and at this point they decided to trust the other, not entirely certain why they had been so adamant on not trusting him anyways, considering Yoongi of all people was the one who would know if something was off or wrong or...just not right with anything going on.

So they had opened the door...

And the boys were nowhere to be seen.

That was when the frantic searching happened. They had scoured every inch of the grounds and the house but the children could not be found. For one horrified moment, Namjoon thought that maybe they had run away from them, but Hobi had declined immediately, stating that the last time they had left a note, and this time they would have done the same if they were truly running off. Jin and Namjoon had looked at Hobi, not quite believing him until Yoongi had agreed with the sunshine magnet.

"Where would they go then?" Jin screeched, eyes wild with panic.

He had not expected them to ditch. They did not even know how long that they had been gone, their sensors had not detected them leaving, the guards had not seen anyone slip by them either, which meant that these boys were far more talented that they had originally been brought to believe. Sure they had been told that the boys had a tendency to rush off without anyone even realizing that they had left until hours later, but they had not exactly expected that it would actually happen.

Yet here they were, four of them against three late teenagers, trying to find them by hacking into the city security footage and desperately searching tons of cameras just to try and find a glimpse of them...

But they were nowhere to be seen. It was as though they had simply dropped off the face of the planet. Even with the tightened security which they had placed on the house they could not detect three boys leaving the room after they had reentered. When they looked out the window, having suspected that they possibly just jumped out (curtesy of Yoongi who informed them that he had done the exact thing several times) they still found nothing.

Yoongi then went to personally investigate. What he came back with was even more concerning. There was evidence of the window having been recently opened, but the window was locked shut, and there was no other evidence of the boy's otherwise well thought out escape.

They had not been caught on any of the cameras leaving the house. Nobody knew where they had gone, and now it was just panicking time. How could they possibly help protect the boys if they kept running off to who knows where.

Not only did they not catch the others on any of  the security cams in the house, or outside of the house, they could not find them on any of the cameras near the city either. The boys had well and truly vanished into thin air.

"Maybe they have teleporting ability we do not know about?" Hobi had suggested.

It was then that they decided to widen the range of the cameras that they were looking at. Hobi had made a good point. While they knew the youngest had air and fire magic, and they knew at least one, probably both of the others had fire magic, they knew nothing of any other types of magic that they may hold. Their other abilities that they may or may not have, they were completely blind to, and it was not as though they could simply look in a file form t, there was no file for such things on these boys.

What they did know was that they needed to find them, and figure out when they left, why they left, and how they left. So many questions, and ones which they dreaded the answers to.
