Chapter 7

~The next morning.~

Katrina

I woke up the next morning, feeling the soreness between my legs. I tried to get up but winced.. suddenly I heard his low chuckle behind me. The bed dips as he sits up.

"It looks like I did a good job.." he says, his voice husky in the morning.

"Yes, it seems soo.. now help me up.. I've gotta pee." I tell him, making him chuckle. He gets up and stands in front of me. I take his hands and he pulls me up. I winced..

"Sorry.." he mutters it out.

"It's all good." I say, once we've reached the bathroom.. I let go and walk on in.. as I sat down, it did hurt a little bit, but it's bearable. I finished up in the bathroom and walked out.

"How'd you sleep?" I ask him.

"Good, how about you?" He asks me.

"Fine." I answer him. Elijah nods..

"So, our parents are coming back tonight. Should we make a nice dinner?" I ask him.

"Sounds good." He says.

"Okay, good.. well mister get dressed, cause we'll need to go grocery shopping." I tell him, standing up.

"Okay."

We both got dressed, Elijah went downstairs first as I was still putting on my shoes. He came back upstairs, handing me a glass of water and 2 pills.

"Take this, it will help with your soreness..I use these for my sore muscles." He explains it.

"Ah, okay.. thanks." I take the pills and down them down with water. With that we're off to the store.

Elijah

I felt the bed move, noticing Kat wincing, I couldn't help but chuckle.. I helped her to the bathroom, I feel bad, because I did not intend to make her that sore..

Eventually, she came out of the bathroom, we talked about making dinner for our families.. I agreed with it, with our conversation being done, we got dressed and ready to go..while she was putting on her shoes, I went downstairs to get some medicine that I use whenever I have sore muscles and brought it to her.

I did explain what they were. She nodded and took them.

After that, we left..

~Few hours later~

Katrina

We returned from the store, with a lot of things. I told Elijah I'll be right back, I went to my house, straight into the kitchen to grab my cookbook which was gifted to me by my Aunt Julie.

Wonder how she is doing...

Just then my phone rang..

"Hello." ~Kat

"Hello sweetie, how are you?" ~mom

"Hey mom, I'm good. How about you guys?" ~Kat

"We're doing good. So, we're on our way, we should be there in 2 and half hours." ~Mom

"Okay, that nice. We'll see you soon then." ~Kat

"See you, love you." ~Mom.

I said it back and we hung up.. I found the cookbook, still holding my phone, I decided to call my aunt. I dialed her number, placing the phone in the crook of my neck and left the house..
