Chapter 39- Birthdays and babies

~6 days later.. ~

Everything was set in plan for her birthday party. The guests are at the clubhouse venue, which is used for celebrations. Our families have landed, I met them earlier, and directed them to the venue. Julie and her sister were in tears when they reunited. Our friends have arrived as well, I greeted them and directed them to the venue. Tommy was the host, making sure everything and everyone is okay. Sadie helping too.

My job was to pick the birthday girl and bring her here. I notified Paige and left.

Katrina

I stood in front of my mirror, wearing a soft green maternity maxi dress with flat shoes, my hair curled and pinned up in a soft bun, with loose strands, makeup done as natural as a sun glow. I received a text from Elijah that he had arrived. I grabbed the gift for him, putting it inside my purse, I left and went downstairs.

"Happy birthday, my love. You look absolutely beautiful." He says, as he clasped an emerald,diamond necklace. I gasped when I saw it.

"Baby, I love it.. thank you so much." I say, kissing him.

"Anything for you, my love." He says. "Ready?"

"Yes, let's go." I say, he opened the car door, I got in, buckled myself, he rushed over to his side, getting in and with that we left.

We arrived at a fancy venue. I got out after he opened the door for me.

"Alright my love, follow me." he says, linking our arms together.

He took us to a dark room. "Uh, eli...are...you." before I could even say something, bright lights turned on as everyone screamed "SURPRISE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATRINA!!!"

I was absolutely stunned. I already planned to have a party, but was definitely not expecting this. People came up and greeted me.

"Come, I have a surprise for you." Elijah says, after people were done greeting me and wishing me a happy birthday. I nodded and took his hand as he dragged me away. Paige and the gang parted, revealing our families and friends.

I gasped. "MOM, DAD! EVERYONE" I said, as I hugged my parents.

"Happy birthday our sweet daughter." My parents.

I moved on to hug his parents. "Happy birthday" they wished me.

"Thank you." I said, turning to my friends. We did a group hug.

"I can't believe you guys are here. How?" I asked, in surprise.

"That would be me." Elijah replies. "I flew them all down, for your special day."

My heart melts, I gazed at him lovingly. Our families and friends in awe of him and I.

"Thank you, this is the best birthday ever!" I say.

"We're glad. Let's get this party started." Kyle whoops. Everyone cheered. I took the liberty of showing my family and friends around. People wishing me happy birthdays along the way, me thanking them.

About 2 hours into the celebration, I decided it was time to tell him and then breaking it to everyone else. I found Elijah by the men, I pulled him aside.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm fine, come with me."

"Okay" is all he says. I took out to the balcony. I said nothing just breathed in the fresh air. He stood by me.
