Katrina

"So how did you and Elijah meet?" Sammy asks from the back seat.. while we're still stuck in traffic.

"His parents and my parents are company partners, they were new in the neighborhood, so it's only natural for us to meet. Eventually, he and I dated.. then one day he just left without a word to anyone. Fast forward a couple of years, I came to live here with Aunt Julie and we were reunited.." I explained the story.

"Cool. I guess.." Sammy says. "Did he tell you why he left?"

"Yes, he did, only after I punched him in the face." I answer.

"Hold up!!! You PUNCHED HIM?" He screams it out. Julie glares at him, he mumbles a "sorry"

"Yes, I did. Practically what happened was, I was at the club, after getting a whole new makeover done, I got up and went to get a drink from Aunt Jules, she handed me the drink, as soon as I turned around, I let go of the cup and it shattered everywhere. He was standing in front of me, I wasn't even sure if he was real or not.. but, sudden anger got the best of me, so I straight up punched him in the face.. which as you all know, I'm not that type of person." I finish explaining.

"Damn!! Thanks for telling me. But, over time, people change for the better, some for the worse, it's a normal thing that people go through." Sammy explained.

"When did you become such a wise young man?" My aunt asks.

"I've always been one, just never showed it." He says, making us laugh.

"Okay." My aunt says. Car starts to move finally, didn't think traffic would be this bad.

~An hour later~

We reached the house, I was the first one out of the car, seeing Eli on his bike in front of the house.

"Hi baby, what are you doing here?" I ask.

"Hey, I heard little Sammy was going to be in town." He answers, just as Sammy comes up to us.

"Hey! I'm not little anymore." Sammy says, pouting. Eli raises his hands in surrender.

"My bad, brother." He says. They bro hug. "Good to see you." Eli says.

"You too. It's been a long time." Sammy says.

My aunt comes up, greeting Elijah, before walking inside the house. We followed behind her.

"Alright, Sammy, you know where your room is." I say.

"Duh!! I've been here more times than you." He says and sticks his tongue out at me, before grabbing his luggage and going upstairs.

"Have a seat." I say to Eli. "He'll be back downstairs, so be ready for questions." I warn him. Elijah raises an eyebrow at me. I shake my head, walking away chuckling.

"Hahah, Eli doesn't know what's waiting for him when Sammy returns from his room." I say.

"Yeah. This will be interesting." My aunt says agreeing with me. I grabbed a couple of ingredients from the fridge, we began cooking together..

Elijah

Kat disappeared into the kitchen, on cue, Sammy reappeared.

"Do you want a drink?" He asks me.

"Nah, thank you brother. Sit" I say.

Sammy sits down.

"How was the mission?"

"It was good, glad to be done with it." I tell him.

"Yeah, you were gone for a long time. The last time I saw you was at Kyle's wedding." He tells me.

"Couldn't take more days off. When duty calls, it calls." I explained to him.

"True. It's just the life we were born into." He says.

"For your age, you sure are quite wise." I tell him.

"That's similar to what my Godmother said." He says, chuckling.

"It's good. So, I assume that Katrina told you about how her and I met?"

"Yup, she told me, especially the part where you got punched by her." Sammy bursts out laughing. I glare at him, but I also laugh.

"Yeah, she got quite the punch." I say.

Katrina and Julie stood there, watching the 2 boys laugh, without them noticing, Jules pats Katrina on the shoulder, before heading back into the kitchen. Katrina stood there smiling and returned to the task at hand..

Eventually, time passed by, dinner was finally served, the table has been set by Sammy and I. Being at the higher position, after Paige, I make it my job to set a good example of what a young man should do. If the lady made the meal, the man should help by doing simple things. It's important to be a good role model especially for the younger generation.

"Please sit down." Jules says. We nod and each took our seats.

"Please dig in." Katrina says. And so we did just that..

((Well folks, see you in the next one. Sry it is short))
