Chapter 37- Deja Vu

Katrina

Since Elijah has told me about the offer, we've been doing great, our bond and communication has become stronger. We've been doing great, just last week we had a big picnic with the whole club and its family members that have been brought.

2 weeks later, I'm working alongside my aunt, helping out more in the club. Paige and the girls have come in from their afternoon shifts. I was covering the bar, while aunt Jules went to take care of some things.

"Hello ladies, what can I get for ya?" I say.

"Haha, I'll take a coke and a burger, I'm starving." Paige says.

"Make that 2." Sadie says.

"Make that 3." Lucy says.

Making us laugh. "Coming right up." I say.
They were telling me about their day, when suddenly I felt nauseous, before I could even say anything, I put my hand on my mouth and ran for the bathroom.

Bursting through the door of the bathroom, kneeling in front of the toilet I puked everything out.

Paige

Holding Katrina's hair back while she's throwing up, feeling the deja vu. I exactly knew what was happening and what this means. Not sure if she knows.

Lucy hands her a napkin to wipe her mouth while she leans against the wall.

"Are you okay? Would you like some water?" Lucy asks her.

"No, I'm okay. I think it's something I ate." Katrina responds.

"Is this the first time you're throwing up?" I ask her the question.

"Yes. It came out of nowhere." She replies.

"Okay." I say and she leans forward and throws up more. Lucy takes over and holds her hair back while rubbing her back.

"I think she might be pregnant.." I whisper to Sadie.

"Me too." She says.

Katrina

After couple of times of me puking my guts out, I sat at the sofa while Sadie brought me some chamomile tea.

"Here, this will help with your upset stomach." Sadie tells me.

"Thanks."

"Katrina, when was the last time you had your period?" Paige asks me.

I stop to think. "Um, about 2 months ago.."

When I said that, seeing Paige's facial expression..it's as if this reminded her.

"Girl, I think you may be pregnant. You see, when I left home, after about 2 months in of me living somewhere else, I found out I was pregnant. So, deja vu hit me, only in reversed roles." Paige explained quickly.

"Oh." Is all I say.

"I think we should go and see if you are before jumping to conclusions." Sadie says.

I nod and with that we left. I told the other bartender that I'll be back shortly. She said it's okay and that she's got it.

I sat in Paige's car and we drove of to see the club's doctor.

We got to the Doc's office, they took my blood and now we're in the waiting room.

"Katrina Winters?" I hear my name called. I stood up and walked over to the nurse.

"Yes?" I say.

"I have your blood work results." The nurse Kathy says.

"Okay."
