Chapter 31-Reunion 2

Katrina

"Attention passengers, this is your Captain speaking, we will be landing shortly, please fasten your seatbelts." The P.A System shuts off. I look to my right at Elijah's sleeping form.

I gently shake him and say "Baby, wake up."

He says "Hm.."

I laugh and nudge him a bit harder. "Baby, wake up, we're landing shortly, you need to put your seatbelt on."

That woke him up. "We're already here?"

"Yes, we are." I reply to him. He nods and fastens his seatbelt.

Eventually, we landed, people getting ready to get off the plane, Elijah and I sat there, waiting for the little traffic to clear away. When he saw it was clear enough for us to go, he got up, grabbed his carry on, as well as mine from the compartment above the seats.

"Come, we can go now." He says to me, putting his hand forward towards me, I grab it and with that we headed on out to unboard the plane. The stewardess says "Thank you for choosing Americana ((not sure what airlines there are. Completely made up.)) We hope you enjoyed the flight and we hope you enjoy your trip."

"Thank you. Have a great day." I say.

We walked out, time to look for our luggage as well as the car. Which reminds me, I need to let Jade know I've landed, I pull my hand from Elijah's hand.

"Sorry, gotta let Jade know we've landed, except for you.." I tell him, he only nods and we continued walking.

Hey, I've landed, on my way to grab the luggage. ~Kat

Kitty!!! Yes, there's a driver that will pick you up and drop you off at the resort. So I'll see you shortly, when you get there, check right in and meet us at the patio. They will know that you're expected. Sound good? ~Jade

Yes, sounds good. See you soon. Can't wait to see you all. ~Kat

"Alright, so there's a driver waiting for us to drop us off at the resort, once we're there, all we gotta do is check in and meet them at the patio bar. Sound good?" I explained to Eli

"Yes. That's fine." He replies, spotting our luggage, he grabs both of them and with that we set off to find the driver. We found him shortly. I approached the driver.

"Hello, I'm Katrina, a member of Jade's wedding party." I introduced myself.

"Ah, yes, Miss Katrina, my name is Luca, I assume this gentleman is joining you?"

"Yes, this is Elijah." I introduced him. Luca nods and grabs our luggages while we get in the car.

"Nice ride." Elijah comments on it. I agree with him.

"Everyone buckled?" Luca asks shortly afterwards.

"Yes." Elijah is the one to respond this time.

With that we're off to the resort.

I don't like this guy, especially how he was looking at my girl, exactly the same way a predator looks at their prey. I keep an eye on him. Making sure not to let Kat notice and worry her. I don't even want to think about, what if I wasn't here right now. I clear my head away from those thoughts and focus on the road ahead, as well as keeping my eyes on the driver and the map. Little does he know, but I've figured out which resort exactly we're going too. Gotta make sure he doesn't take us somewhere else.. you can't trust anyone these days. Only some are the realest people and rest are fake as fuck.
