Chapter 34- Mystery Person

The wedding party and ceremony were really great, Katrina looked absolutely stunning, I fell in love with her over again. We were both exhausted by the time we left. The alarm clock rang, I shut the off button, waking her up gently.

"Kat, time to wake up. Remember we have a flight to get too." I say softly, she mumbles an "okay."

I got up first, got dressed and began cleaning up and packing the stuff away, I chose a comfortable outfit for her in her luggage with comfortable shoes. I set it on the bed while I closed the luggage, moving on to find our passports. She got up, used the bathroom, freshened up and got dressed.

She brushed her hair, leaving down, and putting on her shoes.

"We got everything?" She asks me.

"Yes, we got everything. Ready?"

"Yup, ready. I need coffee." She says. I laughed and agreed with her. I handed her our carry on bag, while I took the luggages.

We checked out of the hotel, the designated driver already waiting for the guests. I put the stuff away, happy to see someone else and not the creep from last time. We got in, the driver confirmed where we need to go. With that we were off.

We checked in as soon as we arrived to the airport, grabbing coffee and a small breakfast while we waited for the plane to board. We finished our coffee and breakfast and with that we were off.

~Couple of hours later~

We landed and arrived, Kyle waiting for us already.

"My man! How was it?" He asks.

"It was lovely." Kat answers. She hugged him and got in the car.

"Hey, listen, there was someone here looking for her, thought you should know." He tells me quietly.

"Thanks man, do we know who it is?" I asked.

"Not a clue." He replies.

I nodded and we got in the car. First we dropped her off and she said she'll come by later, she wants to sleep. I kissed her head and left.

Kyle then dropped me off at my house, pops was happy to see me. Kyle left. I showered, ate something more and went down to the club.

Katrina

A couple of hours later, I woke up feeling very rested, I'm hoping Eli let them know, that I was napping. I checked the time it was evening. Might as well, get up and head on down. I have to find out who was here, looking for me.

I washed my face, putting my hair up in a ponytail, grabbing my keys, phone and shoes, with that I left.

"Hello y'all." I said, gaining their attention, the girls ran up to me, as well as my aunt.

"Hey!!! We missed you." They said, I responded with same.

Hugging my aunt and Sammy right after. My aunt questioned me a lot. I answered all their questions, telling them about the wedding, the reunion and just the time spent there. We were all seated, I eventually excused myself, I went off to find Sammy. Finding him by Tommy was easy.

"Hey Sammy, can I talk to you?"

"Yes sure. Be right back." He says.

We stepped outside, I turned to him. "How did this person look like?"

"I forgot, but luckily I got a picture of him." He says.

"A guy?" I asked. He nodded and showed me the picture. I zoomed in on the person face, I froze, immediately recognized the man in the picture. Adam....

"Do you know who it is?" He asks, after I said nothing for a long time.

"Yes, he's my ex boyfriend from high school. But, what's he doing here? I mean, how did he find me, the only people who know I'm here are my aunt and my....parents" I trailed off, with the realization that my parents might've told him.

I pulled out my phone and dialed the home number. It rang 3 times before it was picked.

Hello? ~ dad

Hi dad and mom, it's Katrina, I'm okay. Listen, did you guys by any chance see Adam, one of this days? ~Kat

We're okay, yes, he came by a couple of days ago, asking for you. Why? ~Mom

Well, you forgot the fact that he and I are broken up, but it's okay. Thanks for that. The wedding was lovely, I will see you guys soon. Love you both, it's late and you need your rest. ~Kat

We love you too, send our best regards to Julie. Night. ~Mom and dad.

Night. ~Kat

I hung up and explained to Sammy, he only nodded.

"If he shows up again, I'll be here. Let's head back inside, for now, don't mention it to Eli, please." I ask him.

"Of course, no problem." Sammy responded, he and I headed back to the group, reassuring them that everything was okay. For the rest of the time there, I was distracted in a good way.

What could he possibly want?
