Chapter 10

Elijah

Jake and the others got pretty wasted, so it was my responsibility to get them home, hauling their asses into the car was no problem for me, since I've got more muscles then them. I dropped Tony and Dylan off first, since Jake is spending the weekend at my place.

We pulled into my driveway, getting him out of the car, I had to hold my hand over his mouth, otherwise he'd wake up everyone, since it is 4 in the morning and people are most likely sleeping. I shut the door with my leg and hauled his ass inside and upstairs to the guest bedroom. I plopped him in bed and covered him with the blanket.. he's settled, now I've gotta make sure the car doesn't have puke in it..
I grabbed a pair of gloves just for incase.

I opened the car doors, lights on, I began the inspection.

Katrina

I jolted out of sleep, having one of those falling type of dreams, I looked at the time, 4am, having no memory of even falling asleep on the sofa, I sat up, stretching my body, feeling the stiffness in my shoulders.

Great, just great... I sigh, grabbing things from the table and walking to the kitchen. I placed the cup and bowl in the sink, while throwing away the rest. I looked out the window, I saw Elijah looking in his car.

I grabbed the blanket, throwing it on me, I headed on outside.

"What are you doing?" I say, startling him. He bumps his head.

"Shit" he hisses. Getting out, straightening his posture. "Making sure there's no vomit.. also why aren't you sleeping? Shit...did he wake you?"

"Uh, gross...and no, I had one of those dreams where you're falling, so it jolted me out of sleep." I explained.

"Ah, okay." He says, walking towards me, he wraps one arm around my waist, pulling me close, he kisses me. I kissed back immediately.. he's the first to pull away,

"I missed you."

"I missed you too. Besides, I'm glad that you and Jake are getting along with Tony and Dylan." I tell him.

"Yeah. True.. oh did you hear, Jade confessed her feelings to Tony tonight." He tells me.

"I know, she called me and told me that she did it.. but, before that she came over and was contemplating on whether or not if she should do it.."

"Ah.. nice..good for them." He says, making me chuckle lightly. "Well missy, go to sleep. I'll see you sometime later today."

"Okay." I replied back. He gives me a light kiss.

"Bye." He says. I nod, turning away and heading on inside my house.

~Couple of weeks later~

Elijah and I were now in a new year of College, I showed him around campus, girls fawning over him, guys glaring at him, because their girls are looking at my boyfriend.. Elijah pays it no mind whatsoever..

I have a morning class from 9 to 12:30, while Elijah's class is at 1:30 till 4:30. During lunch, we'll be able to see each other, so I'm pretty happy about that. My gals and I went shopping for clothes beforehand, for our first days back at college. Although, I'm a law student, doesn't technically mean I have a dress code for that class.. only in the future, when I become a lawyer, then my outfit will change. For now, I'm enjoying my life and college experience. Couldn't be happier.

Class was done, I met up with our group, seeing Elijah, I ran to him, his arms opening and wrapping around me immediately. I smiled.. looking up at him.

"Hi baby." I say, smiling widely.

"Hi, how was class?" He asks me.

"It was good. I've got an essay that's due next Thursday." I tell him, as we're walking towards the group.

"Aw, look at these 2 lovebirds." Tessa and Dylan tease..making me giggle.

"When are you going to confess your feelings for Tessa?" I tease Dylan, making him blush, as well as Tessa..

Haha...that's what you get...

We took our seats, enjoying our lunch, before the guys have to go for their classes.

Lunch was over, before we knew it, I said my bye to Elijah as well as the guys. My gals and I left the other way, getting into Jade's car, we drove off..

Elijah

I took my seat in the back, usually I don't care for attention, but in the class I want all my focus on studies. Class started, the professor explained what our topic is and what we need to do for the day.

As I was setting up the Word document, my phone vibrated in my pocket.

I stood up, going towards the professor.
"Sir, may I be excused, I've got an urgent call?"

"Yes, you may. I hope everything is okay." He says to me. I nod, and thank him, before exiting the classroom.

I answer the phone.

"Hello Elijah, I see you've been expecting the call." ~Blayne

"Yeah, so when.." ~Elijah

"2 days.. unfortunately. I'll text you the address and you'll go from there." ~Blayne

"Damn!! So soon? Alright, man thanks." ~Elijah

"No problem, take care..stay safe." ~Blayne

"You too" ~Elijah..

I hung up the phone, gripping my hair, sighing.. shit, I have 2 days left here... what am I going to do. I shook it off for now, walking back inside. The professor asking if everything's okay. I nodded, explaining that I've got a family thing., I headed back to my seat and put my focus into the assignment, all while thinking...
How am I going to be able to leave Kat behind? Can I even?...
