Katrina

After the beach day, we packed up and went home. I had Paige drop me off, since the boys are responsible for the tables and other set up things.

We pulled into the driveway of my aunt's house, getting out and grabbing my things, Sadie places her hand on my shoulder, I look at her.

"Are you okay?" She asks me.

"Yes, I am actually."

"If you need to talk, we're here for you." Luci says coming out of the car, Paige following behind.

"Thanks. I appreciate it." I say.

"Yeah, don't be shy. We've noticed the little tension between you and Eli." Paige says.

"Mm.. he couldn't do much, he wasn't there, his parents couldn't contact him either.. so, unfortunately he had to find out this way." I reassure them.

They nod.
"We understand and with Eli you have nothing to worry about. He's not going to disappear because of what happened." Paige says.

"Okay. I trust you." I say. "Anyways, thanks for the ride and the fun beach day. Should we meet up at the club?" I ask them, making them smile.

"Yes!! Do you know the way or should I pick you up?" Paige asks.

"Nah, I've got it memorized. Besides, I could use the walk and get familiar with the roads plus streets since from the car it's different that actually walking."

"Okay, in case you don't find it, share your location and I'll pick you up." Paige says, girls agreeing with this.

"For sure. Alright, see you gals." I say, walking slowly away.

"See you!!! Xoxoxo" Sadie says. They get in and drive off.

I went inside, straight for the room, dropping things on the floor, grabbing different clothes and heading for the shower.

After the shower, the mirrors all fogged up, I wipe it away and just stand there, looking at the scar.. hmmm, I did recall seeing a tattoo parlor during a tour.. should I get this tatted into something, cause right now it looks quite dull and boring. I shake off the thoughts for now..and get dressed.

Once fully dressed, I headed on downstairs, as I was grabbing a drink, someone knocked. I set the cup down and went to the door.

Elijah

"Alright, everything's in its place, I'm off now." I announce.

"Alright brother, stay safe." They say.

I nod and head on out, hoping on my bike I drive off to Katrina's place.

Knocking on her door, I wait.
She opens it after a second.

"Hi" I say.

"Hey." She says and steps aside. "Come in"

"Thanks." I say, removing my shoes and following her into the kitchen.

"Want a drink?" She asks.

"Nah, I'm good."

"Okay." She pours herself a drink and sits across from me.

"So, you're probably wondering why I'm here" I say. She nods. "Um, honestly, I feel like it was partially my fault because I left.. which of course, couldn't be changed..and there was no contact number to let me know about your accident."

"True.. but, it's not your fault..you had an important mission that you couldn't avoid. The accident happened, it was inevitable, the guy crashed into us.. some people shouldn't have a license.. but, as for the contact number, yeah it sucks that we couldn't contact you.. and even if we could, it's not like you could just leave and come back. You know?" She says.
