8.9 Gun's N Rose's 🔞

Seokjin dragging Jungkook with him, driving his car looking for any clinic that still open to give him a proper treatment. The car passed a few clinic but they're all closed.

"Why didn't you tell me!??!"

He cries, squeezing the steering until his knuckles turns white.

"Because you said you're marrying someone else.. I don't want to ruin your marriage.. You will definitely run into my arms if I tell.."

"Foolish! We're talking about your fucking life, Jungkook!! Your life is more important that my fake marriage!"

Jungkook silence. His eyes getting heavy, tired from losing too much blood.

"I'm sorry, Seokjin.. But, you shouldn't do this.."

"Do what? Saving you?! Why shouldn't I?!?"

".. Because there's bounty for my head.. Someone might kill you too.."

"I don't fucking care, Jungkook! If it's mean that we will be together, then I am willing to die with you!" he said, crying messed.

Jungkook held his hand in his cold palm, squeezing his fingers. He pull them close to his lips, kissing each of them.

"I love you, babe.. I'm.. So sorry..." He said with a weak voices. He glance at the side mirror and notice a black sedan has been following them for a while now.

Heavy breathing, he take his gun and checking the bullets. There five left to protect Seokjin from those contract killer chasing for his head.

"Slow down at the corner." he gave Seokjin an order, planning to get rid of the pursuer.

"What—"

"Just drive." his eyes on the road, looking forward to a corner not far from them.

Seokjin nods. He slow down the car once at the corner, while Jungkook roll down the window, pointing the silenced gun at the car behind them, targeting the fuel tank at the rear side of the driver.

Booom!

A moment later, he sees the car exploding, sees red sky of fire and a burning car.

His body trembling from fear. Jungkook noticed his changing, grabbing his hand.

"Don't be afraid."

"I am not afraid!!" he yell, not wanting to be look weak in Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook chuckles. "Cute.."

"I am not cute!!"

"Yes you are.. Baby—" Jungkook suddenly cough. Worse than before. Seokjin pull out, slow down the car, stop by the roadside.

He gets out from the car, goes to Jungkook side to help with whatever he can. But Jungkook didn't show any sign to stop the coughing. He even coughing out blood, making Seokjin's crying messed.

He's a doctor but he don't know what to do in this situation. He felt useless for failing to help his own lover. He may can save the animal but when it comes to saving his own lover, he lost his mind.

Jungkook keep squeezing his finger, didn't want to let go. He freaks out when he sees more blood coming out from Jungkook's stomach, soaking the car seat.

"Please hold on, Jungkook!" he pat his back, trying to soothe the cough. Or the pain. He don't know.

After a while, Jungkook finally stop coughing. He wipe the blood at his lips with the collar of his white shirt.

"I'm sorry..." he said with a very weak voice. His face turns paler, breaking Seokjin's heart looking at him.

"Please.. Hold on. We will definitely find a clinic and gets you treated.. So please..."

Jungkook glance at his watch. It's been two hours since he was shot and  bleeding. He must've loss enough blood to take his life anytime soon.

"I'm sorry..." he keeps repeating the words, staring deep into Seokjin's brown eyes, knowing he will die, leaving Seokjin and his love for him.

"No! Stay awake if you're really sorry!!" Seokjin screaming in agony, never ready to lost the man he love.

Jungkook smiles. His vision getting blurr. Tears forming from his eyes, run down to his cheek. His chest feel tight, hard to breath.

"I love you so much, Jin.." he reach to Seokjin's cheek, caressing with his bloody thumb.

Seokjin leaning in his cold palm, trying to stop crying but failed. "I love you too, Jungkook.. Please.. Don't leave me.. Please..."

"No.. I won't, baby... I will always live in your memories, right..?"

"I don't want that! I want you to stay with me! I know you'll always stay!!"

".. Baby..." Jungkook smiles. "My beautiful baby.. My angel.. Still so beautiful even when crying.."

"Dont fucking say that and dare to leave me, Jungkook!"

"It's hurt.." Never thought that there will be a day when he complained about being hurt. But it is hurt. He want Seokjin to know how it feel when facing death, so that the doctor will appreciate life even more.

"I know.. But please, hold on.."

"Can I.. Ask a question..?"

"You just did, idiot."

Jungkook chuckles. "Do you.. Love.. Me..?" it's even hard to speak.

"YES! I DO! I love you! So much..." Seokjin's cries gets louder.

"Can you promise me something..?"

"Hey, that's the second question."

"Ah.. I'm sorry."

"Damn it, Jungkook! Just say it!"

Jungkook cough. His left hand pressing his wound.

"Please stay.. alive.. even without me.. Live happily.. and don't let.. that freak.. control your life.." he said after relief from the cough.

Seokjin grip Jungkook's hand in his. Kissing his palm. "Yes... I will.."

"Thank you.. Can you kiss.. Me..?"

Seokjin nods. He wipe his face that was wet with tears and slimes, leaning in to kiss his lover.

Their lips meet, soft and tender, but cold and filed with taste of blood. Hand in hand the grip getting loosen and not long after that he can't feel the hot breath from Jungkook anymore.

He stays in the position for a while, refuse to let go and accept the fact that Jungkook is leaving him, until Jungkook's hand slips from his.

Tears running down to his cheek, enters his mouth. He break the kiss when suddenly felt a drop of cold water touching his cheek.

The rain pours, as if it's also grieving for his loss. He stares at the  corpse in horror as the blood seeps into the seat. He starts getting filled with anger, desperate and painful.

He look at the pistol on the dashboard and becomes furious. He take the gun, throwing it into the tall grass behind him and screams. He falls to his knees and tries to hold back his tears, but he can't, failed miserably.

The tears become uncontrollable as he caressing Jungkook's cheeks and realising it's getting cold.
