For the next few days Mitch didn't get of bed. I was beginning to think about taking him to the hospital when on the sixth day I woke up late. There was no one in the bed next to me. I went down to the kitchen to see Mitch and Chris talking at the counter. I stood in the doorway to listen to their conversation without disturbing them.
"So does it hurt really badly?" Chris asked. Mitch looked down at his hands and then back up at Chris. He was really thinking about the answer.
"Not now. It did yesterday. It hurt really bad. So bad that I can't move without sending a shoot of pain up a limb. It's like being stuck in the leg with a knife. Repeatedly. Then when I can't breath it's like a raging fire in my throat. Like I've just run fifty thousand miles or something. You just have to hope that the air will fill your lungs eventually. But Scott's great. He is probably the best boyfriend ever. When it comes to helping me he does it better than any nurse or doctor. I feel bad for him though, he must hate having to look after me. I'd hate it."
"He really does love you." Chris said. "It's weird, I've known Scott for quite a while and I've never seen him be like he is with you with anyone else. He just always seems so happy around you. You make his eyes light up." I smiled down at the ground. Chris was telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
I took a deep breath and walked through the doorway. "Morning beautiful." I walked forward and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "What you guys talking about?" I asked innocently.
"You." Mitch said, smiling up at me. Chris winked at Mitch and let out a giggle.
"All good things, I hope. You feeling better today?" I asked Mitch. Mitch nodded in response. I sat down on the chair next to him to join the conversation.
I watched as Mitch began in to lift himself out of his wheelchair. His legs took his weight just barely. He reached out for my hand and I grabbed his trying to help him take his weight off of his feet. "What are you doing?" I asked as he began to walk forward.
He let go of my hand and sat down on my lap without responding. He cuddled into my chest and sighed. I immediately wrapped my arms around him. "That's better." He whispered. I smiled and buried my face in the thin hair on top of his head. I breathed in through my nose and the smell of vanilla and peppermint filled my nose. I could feel the soft vibrations of Mitch's voice move through my chest as he talked to Chris.
I closed my eyes and revelled in just hearing his voice. I felt my body completely relaxed and realised that that hadn't happened in a very long time. "Scott, are you sleeping?" I heard Mitch say.
"No," I lifted my head from his hair. Mitch looked up at me and I smiled. "Just listening to you talk." I finished. His mouth cracked into a smile and I watched his eyes shining. The deep browns overtaking me.
"Guys, not to break the moment but..." Chris said snapping us both out of our stares. Mitch burst out laughing cuddling back into my chest.
"We should film SuperFruit right now." Mitch suggested jumping up and back into his chair. "That was stupid. I did that too quickly." He commented pushing himself back towards his bedroom.
I jumped up rolling my eyes and walking after him. Once I reached his bedroom he was already sat down in front of his bed. I took the camera out from the closet and set up the lights. I sat down on the bed next to him and nodded.
"Are you ready?" I asked looking at Mitch. He looked at me and nodded. "1, 2, 3. Hey welcome to SuperFruit the best show on the internet. My name is...... Tyler Oakley." I announced.
"Ohhh..... And my name is Troye Sivan." Mitch announced. "And we are Troyler and we are so in love that we don't even know it." Mitch leaned across the seat and captured my lips in his.
"We haven't told them about that one yet, have we?" I asked, biting my lip as he pulled away.
"Well it's now or never." Mitch said leaning in and kissing me again. As he broke away he looked back at the camera. "Scott and I are together." Mitch said, "it felt weird to announce that."
As the episode progressed so did or cuteness. Mitch became extremely cuddly and everything he said made me laugh. He was so hyper and jumpy. It was probably the most pointless episode we had ever filmed.
When we finished Mitch went and turned the camera off. I watched him fondly as he placed the camera on the nightstand and checked his phone. Every movement he took was beautiful. His whole body was beautiful.
"Stop staring at me, creep!" He said letting out a little laugh. He didn't even look up from his phone. I stood quietly and slowly walked towards him. His eyes were so fixated on that he didn't even noticed. I slowly bent down onto my haunches and leaned in close to his ear.
"Am I really a creep?" I whispered. He shuddered slightly but kept his eyes on his phone, trying to look unfazed. I moved my hands up and grab at his side. "Tickle fight." I tickled him, moving my hands up and down his sides as he screamed. He laughed loudly, squirming under my touch.
"Stop! Please! I will beat you up!" He screeched. He threw his hands out to hit me. When he began to gasp for breath I stopped. I looked at him worried.
"I'm sorry. Jesus, I should have stopped when you told me to." I said. He looked at me with a huge smile on his face still panting for breath.
"You're an idiot." He said. He turned his chair to face me and flung his hands round my neck. "Carry me." He ordered, biting down on his lip seductively. I moved my arms around his back and lifted him into my arms. He wrapped his legs around my hips and looked me in the eyes.
"You should kiss me." He whispered. I connected our lips and he hungrily kissed me. His hand tugged on my hair slightly and my legs became weak. I moved one of my hands off of his lower back and to cup his face. I tried to steady my footing but Mitch was making me feel so flustered.
I stepped backwards, my legs coming in contact with the bed. This completely surprised me, bowling me into my back on the bed, Mitch on top of me.
Mitch broke away from me and we both giggled. "Slow down, big boy." I laughed. He licked his lips and looked down at me. As silence fell over us as we looked in each other's eyes, mesmerised by what had just happened. Dazed by the tingling still in my lips.
"You're pretty." Mitch whispered, breaking the silence. I blushed as he closed the gap between us again. God I loved him.
