-continuing from the last chapter😌-

We were walking in complete silence the whole way down the hill. My heart was beating out of my chest. I didn't want to go back to l'Manburg. Not after everything they did. Dream said that they had apparently won their nation and was a separate part of the smp under the conditions that Tommy would have to give Dream 1 of his disks (mellohi) and I would stay with Dream.

Not that I didn't want to stay with Dream but I wished things would go back to the way they were before. Back when I would occasionally see Dream, George and Sapnap on the prime path, they would always make stupid and annoying jokes and call me names. I hated it but, right now, I would give anything to go back to that time.

My own 'friends', my best friends, a father figure, some one I considered a brother and and everyone else that I loved just wanted me gone. I understand that they wanted their home and nation and stuff, but Dream said that they didn't even consider the fact that they wouldn't see me again, well until now for some reason. He said that the only thing that they didn't want to give up was the disk. He said that they didn't care if I would no longer be with them. He said that they didn't even try to argue the fact that I would stay with Dream.

They didn't care about me anymore.

I told Wilbur that I loved him.

He said it back.

Was it all fake?

Did he mean anything by it?

"Ok, stick by me. Don't leave my side." Dream said sternly snapping me out of my thoughts.

I look up and distant land started coming into view.

"Okay." I breathed.

"And if I roughly grab you or threaten you or anything like that, don't think of it personally."

"Okay." I respond again.

"I might hurt you if it comes to it but it won't be that bad."

"Okay." I repeat for a third time.

Should I ask him now?

As I could clearly start seeing the familiar land, I realized how much I missed it. Sure, I hated all the people here, but it was my home.

Ask him. Ask him. Ask him. Ask him. Ask him. Ask him. Ask him.

"Dream." I finally spoke.

"Hm?" He looked up at me while Sapnap and George kept rowing in the seat in front of us.

"Um, why am I going back." I asked hesitantly.

He opened his mouth to say something but then paused and decided against it.

"I can't tell you yet."

"Why."

"I can't tell you that ether."

I sighed.

"If you're worried about me not talking to you again or something, don't worry, because I will."

"Really?"

"Of course! Like I said, you're my best friend."
