Chapter 38: Farewell

I was asleep in Levi's arms for an hour and I was just tired of what happened a while ago, I fell asleep when he's brushing my hair and hums to me. I then suddenly wakes up and stands up and vomits in the unused bucket, while Levi is holding my hair.

"Tch why are you always vomiting brat?" as he says, I then wipes my vomit in my mouth and goes back to bed with Levi.

"I-Im sorry, I made a mess.. I'll clean it later, I'm just tired that's why" I then said and he just give me the look and kisses my head, few minutes later I was asleep once again and Levi leaves me to check if there are new plans.

Levi's POV

I kissed Y/N's forehead and I leaves the room, I know it's hard but I need to know that I'm still here. Armin then saw me trying to walk in the hallway and he stops me.

"You're being reckless, you need to just keep resting" as Armin says while stopping me from walking. Then Pieck happens to be walking and saw us.

"I'll join, I don't have anything else to do" as she said. We all went to Yelena's room and listens to her stories about how Eren and Zeke wanted to do the euthanization plan.

"I'll admit it, I'm powerless" as Hange said then we all dismissed the sudden meeting and went back to our room with Armin guiding me.

"Thank you Armin" as I said, I opened the door and saw Y/N still sleeping, I then hugs her back and kisses her head.

"Levi? where have you been?" as she asks.

"Yelena's room, he wanted to talk about Eren.. Get up brat! we'll be leaving" as I said then she stood up and changes to her uniform.

"You heard them... Start Inspecting your equipment" as Hange said, I saw Y?N inspecting her equipment. As I was going to grip the blades, I can't because I lost a finger.

"Levi!" as Y/N said while the others are looking at me.

"It's fine... two fingers is all I need" as I said, then they all continued inspecting their equipments. Then, a shot of gun was heard, Floch shot the holes on the fuel tank! Damn that brat!

"We can't fly like this Hange!" as Onyankopon said. It will take an hour to set up again this kind of fuel tank. Then we heard a rumbling, Y/N was scared and hold on to my hand tight.

"Don't be scared brat, even if the world was ending... I'm glad that I'm with you" as I said. then Armin and Reiner debate to each other who is going against the titans to buy us some time.

"It's my time, I take responsibility" as Hange said, I was shocked about what this four-eyes said.

"Armin Arlert, I hereby appoint you 15th commander of the survey corps." as Hange says, then Y/N rushed towards her crying.

"Please! No! Hange! we need you!" as she said while crying, I then was afraid of losing her. She was my bestfriend since I joined the scouts. I then pulls Y/N away from Hange.

"Levi, please convince her not to sacrifice herself!" as Y/N said, i can't let another friend of mine sacrifice. I saw Mikasa and the others shocked too as they pull away Y/N.

"Hey Four eyes" as I said, Hange then stops.

"It's my turn Levi, you understand that?" as she said, My eyes were filled with sadness as she said that.

"So just let me go okay? I'm sorry if I can't come to your wedding.. but I wish you the best  to the both of you... please take care of Y/N, I just loved her" as she said and I pat Hange's chest.

"Devote..." as I said.

"Your heart" as Hange replied. Then she just laugh with what I said.

"That's the first time I've ever heard you said that" as she shouts, I'm going to miss her annoying voice.

"Hange!!!" as everyone screams seeing Hange flying above the titans and destroys with thunder spears. I held Y/N while she watches Hange from dying.

"It's sealed!... Start Pouring the fuel!" as the conductor said, we all then rode the airship. While Y/N in my arms wanting to save Hange's ass.

"Hange!!!" as Y/N said, I could hear her broken voice, as she lost another friend that she loves.

"Stop it Cadet! we don't have any other choice" as I said while stopping her to save her, then we took off and I held Y/N in my shoulders. I keep losing everyone that I loved, but this time... I won't let Y/N go.

"See you Hange... Keep watching us" as I said while the airboat  tooks off. I still hears Y/N crying and whimpering. I kissed her and the last thing I know is that she fells asleep again crying.
