The song above is titled Let me love you( until you learn to love yourself) Glee Cast version. Hope you like it!
The rest of the week had flied by and the moment I had been dreading had arrived. I hated the part of me that actually wanted to go with him, tonight. But then again, I realized that what Noah said was right. I must've seemed like such a such a stick in the mud those past three years. Its just that it's hard to maintain a social life, when there's really no space for one.
"So what time is he coming?" Noah asked.
"7!" I yelled from my room.
I walked out and Noah's jaw dropped a little. And I immediately started to shift uncomfortably. Attention for my looks weren't exactly something I was used to. It was always blend in or be the poor sad girl with no parents
"Close your mouth You'll catch flies."
He laughed and said,"You're wearing mom's dress." The strapless dress was a soft turquoise color that barely covered my knees.
"Isaac told me it was a fancy restaurant and I didn't have any nice dresses. And after throwing up in Kat's last dress and getting drunk in the one before that, I figured I should probably stop borrowing her clothes."
"Yeah, we both know that's not going to happen," Noah said as he smiled warmly at me.
"You look just like her," he said.
"Really? I thought I wasn't old enough for wrinkle lines?" I asked jokingly.
The doorbell rang and I asked,"Noah, can you get that? I forgot my purse."
"Sure." I grabbed my black purse and some flats. Heels were not an option.
I walked out and saw Isaac leaning against the kitchen counter.
"Wow, you look... amazing" he said when he saw me. I wanted to smile at the compliment. After all, it took like two freaking hours to get all fancy. I would've hoped it was worth it. But I refused to give him the satisfaction of knowing that there's a chance I could enjoy the night.
"Yeah whatever, let's get this over with," I replied.
"I'm glad to see you're so excited," Isaac said sarcastically. I just rolled my eyes and pretended not to hear him.
"See ya!" I called to Noah as I closed the front door behind me.
The minute I walked out the door I was in awe of his red Ferrari. I got in the car and couldn't help but notice he was looking at me.
"You know, instead of staring at me, you should be watching the road. That's how we prevent accidents, remember?"
He laughed and then replied," I don't stare, I observe." This time it was my turn to laugh. When we reached, we walked in and a woman, maybe in her thirty's greeted us.
"Mr. Atkins, nice to see you again," She said as she lead us to our table.
"Oh, so is this the place you take girls to make them fall in love with you?" I teased him.
"No, I don't need to take girls to a place to make them love me. Its just part of my natural charm. I come here cause my mom forces me to come to her business dinners. She uses me to get her possible business partners daughters to like me, so that they'll partner with her."
I couldn't help but ask,"You don't really seem to have the greatest picture of your mom, do you?"
"Eh. It doesn't really matter," He replied nonchalantly.
