I'm letting you guys know in advance that this chapter is long . But I hope you like it anyways. The song above is If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys.

"Okay sweetie, I'm gonna leave now. I need at least an hour to get ready. But just to make sure, what do you not do while I'm gone?"

"Don't touch my hair, makeup, or even my dress," I recited.

"Good girl," Kat said.

"I'm so excited to meet your mystery date! Shaun and I will meet you and Eve there."

"Okay," I said. I anxiously looked at my reflection in the mirror.

She smiled warmly at me," Don't be nervous. You look beautiful. " I nodded with a small smile and she left.

I looked back to the mirror, and I felt like I couldn't even recognize myself. Instead of my usual jeans and t-shirt, I had a gorgeous, sleeveless, baby blue, dress that ended just above my knees. And instead of my straight hair, it was had been put into a bun at the crown of my head with one curled strand of hair on each side of my face.

Kat had also added an alluring silver hair comb to my bun to make it look "pretty". She even insisted on heels.

I looked away from the mirror when I heard a knock at my door.

"Can I come in? Are you fully dressed?" Noah asked from the other side of the door.

"Yes, you can come in."

He opened the door and gasped a little.

"Wow, Kat really knows what she's doing, doesn't she?"

'Yup," I said silently thanking her in my head. I honestly don't know what I would've done without her. Actually, I probably wouldn't even be going if it wasn't for her.

"Beth, you look amazing,"

"Thank you," I said as I did a little curtsy.

"You don't so bad yourself, mister." I told him

"Oh, this old thing," He replied sarcastically as he straitened his tie with a smug smile.

"I thought she was just coming over?"

"Yeah, well I decided to be one of those classy guys for once and take her to an actual restaurant, instead of McDonald's" he joked.

"Wow, you must really like this girl,"
