Get it? Like the children's song? Sad llama, happy llama, mentally disturbed llama. I'm sorry, I have disappointed you with yet another stupid chapter title. But you know what? It was the first thing that popped into my mind so deal with it. Anyways.... hope you enjoy! Oh and also! This song is called Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift. Okay.... now I'm done!
"Yay, It's raining!" Eve exclaimed as we got out of the car and headed into the school building.
"I hate the rain." Kat muttered, clearly not in a good mood.
"Eh, I don't mind it so much. You know what they say, April showers bring May flowers."
"Hey ladies!" Shaun called for us. He was leaning against his locker, listening to music.
"Hey sweetie!" Kat said as she pecked him on the cheek.
"Ugh! Why can't you guys have different names!" Eve abruptly exclaimed in frustration.
"Excuse me?" Kat turned her attention from Shaun and gave Eve her 'You want to mess with me' look. She had her hand on her hip and everything. I gulped, nervous for Eve.
"Oh sorry, not in that way," Eve said, realizing she had sounded rude.
"Then in what way?" Shaun asked.
"Well, you know how lately I've been obsessed with shipping people?"
"You don't say?" Sh ignored me and continued.
"Well, I've been thinking about Shaun and Kat."
"And?"
"Well, Kaun doesn't sound good enough. And the other name is... well... Shat." Shaun and I instantly bellowed with laughter. Although, Kat on the other hand, was not amused.
"And then I though of using Kat's full name, but then I came up with Shatrina." She said with a nervous smile.
"Oh for the love of God, please stop!" Shaun said in between breaths, holding his hand up. We were both hunched over in tears. Kat still had her arms crossed over her chest. She gave Eve a mock smile."Well, I'm sure you'll think of something."
My smile faded when I saw Isaac. He hadn't been at school for months and all of a sudden he was here... with his arm wrapped around some girl's waist. My face instantly flushed with fury. Her long black hair (obviously dyed) swayed as she walked through the hallway with him. She began to giggle as people turned their heads to look at them. Immediately there were whispers of 'Isaac's new play toy'. But she didn't seem to care. In fact, she was enjoying the attention. As they walked down the hall, Isaac glanced at me, and a smirk spread on his lips. My fists curled at the thought of him.
As soon as they were out of view, Kat, Eve and Shaun simultaneously turned to me.
"I'm so sorry, Beth," Eve said sadly.
"Why? You have nothing to be sorry about. I told you he was lying about caring for me and I was right. I don't know if you've noticed but I like to be right."
"I know but-"
"But nothing. It doesn't matter to me that Isaac's found found another whore to hang out with. In a few weeks he'll be with some other girl. It's nothing new," I said bitterly.
"That bastard! I say we kidnap him and dump him in the ocean where he can suffer for his mistake!" Kat exclaimed in a sudden burst of anger.
"I'm so glad I have a normal girlfriend. The last one was real crazy. She wanted to shoot someone. Can you believe that? I mean, drowning is soo much better, don't ya think?" Shaun said sarcastically.
