Hey guys! Meet Chase! And no, the title is not talking about him. Enjoy the next chapter of Extraordinarily Ordinary!

"You know, Beth? You're a real bitch," Julia spat at me as she sauntered over to my lunch table.

"Excuse me?" I asked in confusion.

Kat, Shaun and Eve were also sitting with me and were staring at her with the same confused look on her face.

"Don't give me that crap, Abbott. I know you went on a date with Isaac," She replied with an extreme amount of disgust on her face.

"Wait a minute, how do you even know?" I asked her.

"I have my sources."

"Stalker," Shaun said in between coughs. We all rioted in laughter as Julia's face turned red.

I finally stopped and told her," Listen, Julia. That dare didn't mean-"

"No, you listen Bethany. You and him don't ever have a chance."

"Is Julia Wilde jealous?"Eve asked.

"Yup, I think she is,"Shaun confirmed.

"Please, I don't need Isaac. I've already been with like a million guys since we broke up. Thank God we're over!"

"You know some people would rather have a serious committed relationship then be a whore. But you know, whatever works for you," Kat told her. We all started laughing again when she cut us off.

"Bethany you just called war. Lets make this clear, I'm gonna make your life a living hell. Remember that." She threatened me with a cold, hard stare. Then she walked away without looking back.

Kat, Eve and I looked at each other worriedly but Shaun just laughed.

"What?"

"It's high school, how much worse can it get?"

Shaun was wrong, the rest of the week was just like Julia promised. She had done about everything there possibly could be to make my school day awful. She did everything from book dropping to jamming my locker. The only way I thought of to make her stop, was to stay away from Isaac. And that's exactly what I did. I avoided him as much as possible.

"You're coming today, right?" Isaac asked as I started walking out of the school building.

"No," I said as I avoided eye contact with him and stared at the ground. Then he stepped in front of me and I ran into him.

"What?" He asked. I backed away but continued not to look at him.

"I don't want to go, Isaac."

"Beth, look at me." I realized that looking solely at the ground, wasn't going to actually do anything except land me in the hospital, again. I finally shifted my gaze up towards him.

"Fine, go ahead and ignore what happened the other night. But I just need you to come." He told me desperately

"Why?"

"Well, um I kinda bet on it?" He admitted, shyly.

"What?" I asked in shock.

"When I told Chase you were coming, he didn't believe me. Then he bet a 100 bucks that you wouldn't come because he said you're..." Curiosity mixed with anger boiled inside me. I knew Chase probably didn't use a positive adjective to describe me, but I still wanted to hear what he said.

"I'm what, Isaac? Huh, what did he say I was?"
He shifted his weight from one foot to another and finally answered.

"Beth, it doesn't matter. I just need you to come. Please!"
