BTW, the above picture is Holly, if you didn't guess by now.

"Well, that was great." I muttered to myself as I walked out of the Doctor's office. I shuddered as I remembered her poking and prodding me, drilling me with hundreds of questions that made the uncomfortable visit even more uncomfortable.

"Did you have your period already this month?"

"You haven't drunk any alcohol yet, right?" I thought about telling her about that one time and then remembered that underage drinking was illegal. So that probably wouldn't have been a good idea.

"Have you had sexual intercourse yet?" I cringed slightly when she asked that. Being the awkward person that I am, I just shook my head in reply. Glad, that it was over, I began to walk to the parking lot where Noah's car was. My mind began to wander and I thought about Isaac's sister and what Kat had said. I didn't even know her name, there was no way I could visit her. I quickly dismissed the thought.

As I was passing, from the corner of my eye, I noticed that one of the room's doors was cracked open. I kept walking but the sound of crying stopped me. I turned to see a girl, maybe a year or two younger then me, sobbing in her bed as she stared at the ceiling. I could see that her face and her arms were bruised, some parts were even black and blue. A wave of sympathy swept over me. I knew I shouldn't have but I couldn't help but move closer to listen. Unfortunately my clumsiness got in the way, and I hit the door, swinging it wide open. Her eyes immediately narrowed on me.

I gave her an awkward, half laugh and said,"And that's why I would never make it as a spy." She tried to cover up the fact that she was crying but she was caught off guard, which made it too hard. She hastily wiped her tired eyes and then looked back at me.

"Are you one of those Psychiatrists my mom sent?" She asked rudely.

"Um, no. I just heard you- I just wanted to know if you were okay?"

She sniffled and asked, "So you're some random stranger?"

"More like a good Samaritan, wanting to help a fellow sister out." She chuckled but then her face contorted with pain.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

She brushed her dark hair out of her face and replied sadly,"I have two broken ribs, so laughing isn't really something I can enjoy anymore."

"Well, as hard as it'll be, I promise not to be funny anymore." She smiled at me.

"For your information, this stranger's name is Beth. Can the stranger ask for your name?"

"Holly." She replied quietly. I walked further into the room.

"That's a nice name."

"really? I've never been a fan." She said, unsure.
