A whole month had gone by, and I hadn't seen Isaac once in school. I was starting to get worried. I was contemplating whether to call him or something to make sure he was all right. He was probably fine and just decided "I'm a a bad boy, and bad boys skip school, so I think I'll do that." I swear, guys do the stupidest things to look cool, but then again, I guess girls do too. So I guess all people are stupid? Me including, you'll find out why, soon enough.

"Beth, are you sad that you're boyfriend hasn't come to school?" Eve teased me.

"No."

"OMG! I just had the greatest idea ever!" Kat suddenly exclaimed.

"No offense, but your great ideas never end well."

"Nuh uh," Kat folded her arms and pouted.

"Yes uh. Remember the time you thought it would be a great idea to light sparklers in the house... and then you set your kitchen on fire?" I reminded her.

"Well, you can't hold that against me. That was when I was young and immature. I'm much more wiser now." She argued.

"Kat, that was last summer."

"A year is a long time, Beth."

"It hasn't been a year." I argued.

"Whatever, I still wanna hear her idea! Great or not," Eve interjected.

"It's probably not."

Ignoring me, she half said, half squealed, "Well, I think you should visit him!"

"Ding Ding Ding! I called it, didn't I I?" I mocked her.

"No, seriously, I think that's what you should do."

"Well, seriously, you think wrong."

"Yeah! It would be so cute! If it turns out he was sick you could be like his nurse and take care of him! I bet his address is in the school directory!" Eve said.

"Yeah, no!"

"I dare you!" Kat exclaimed.

"I think you've forgotten , Kat. So let me remind you. We aren't in sixth grade anymore." I said very slowly for her to get it through her head.

"Yeah, like Beth would ever do that. She's too scared" Eve said.
