I've been writing a couple of chapters but I haven't gotten a chance to publish them. So a couple more chapters will most likely be published in the next couple of days just like this one. I hope you enjoy it!

We drove for about half an hour. The view was absolutely gorgeous. Clear skies, birds flying.
"So are you going to tell me where we're going?" I asked, breaking the silence as I stared out the windshield of the car.
"No." he replied, his eyes never leaving the road.
"Okaay then."I said, wondering if I had made the right decision in coming with him. He's not a kidnapper, he's not a kidnapper, I said in my mind over and over again to assure myself.
The car pulled into a patch of grass in front of a cliff, about twenty feet high, with hundreds of trees surrounding it. Stairwells were carved into it which curved around to front of the cliff. He started to climb up them but I just stayed rooted in my spot in awe. San Francisco had been my home for my whole life. I couldn't believe how much of it I hadn't seen. Isaac was about to disappear behind the cliff when he turned around to look at me.
"You coming?"
I snapped out of my trance and quickly caught up to him.
As we reached the top, it revealed a vast body of water below, stretching out for miles. A couple rocks scattered near the shore. I finally wrenched my eyes away to see Isaac sitting on the ground behind me. His hands behind him, supporting himself and his legs stretched out in front of him. He looked so relaxed and at home.
I envied his carefree approach to life. I wished more than anything to be that type of person. Maybe if I was, then half the problems in my head would've disappeared. The problems that were never really problems but I made them that because of how much I overthought things. I walked over to join him.
"How did you find this place?" I asked, still
astonished by the view.
"After my dad died, I spent alot of time away from home. This is one of the place I found."
"Wow. Another question. How come no one else has found this place?"
"It's private property."
"Wait, so are we-"
"Relax, we aren't trespassing. My family is the one who owns it." he said nonchalantly.
"So then-"
"Can you just shut up for a couple of seconds and enjoy the view?" So I did. But eventually curiosity got the best of me.
