I Can't Forget You//Ross Lynch&R5

Chapter 35

It's been about a month since I ran into Justin and talked to my dad. A lot has happened in a month; Justin introduced me to some of his friends, and it just so happened that they play instruments also, so they joined the band.

We decided to call ourselves 'Living The Dream' because all of our dreams of becoming musicians are finally coming true. There's five of us all together. It goes, me as the lead singer, Justin on lead guitar, Nick on drums, Adam on rhythm guitar, and Dallas on bass. The guys sing a little too, it's not just me. The cool thing about it is our ages range from 17, almost 18, to 26; no one's the same age. Everyone is extremely supportive of us, especially Ross.

We have our first show tonight at a county fair. We're all ready excited. We only have time to perform 3 songs, so we decided on doing 2 covers and 1 original. Since no one knows who we are yet, we want people to be able to sing along with us.

We arrive at the fair about two hours before we have to go on. It takes us about a half hour to warm up, then we walk around the fair killing some time before we go on stage.

Ross and the rest of R5, including Ryland, are here supporting us.

Justin and I walk around with Ross and his family, while the rest of the band do their own thing.

"Two of my friends are suppose to be coming to watch us, I wonder if they're here yet." Justin says to us. "Well, they're also performing with their band, but they're coming early to support us."

"That's cool, I can't wait to meet them." I say.

After walking around for a while outside in the hot sun, we decide to get something to drink.

"Woah, check out that girl!" Ryland says to Rocky while we're standing in line.

"You should go talk to her." He encourages.

"Wait, which one?" Justin asks him.

"The girl who's with that guy that's walking towards us." Ry answers.

"Oh, those are my friends I was telling you guys about."

Ryland's face drops a little, his eyes get wide, and he looks a little nervous.

"Hey Justin!" The guy says.

"Hey guys." Justin says. "This is my step-sister, Chelsea, and her friends."

"Nice to meet you guys." I tell them.

"Hi, I'm Brandon, and this is my little sister, Savannah." He says.

I introduce them to everyone, and when I got to Ryland, he was having trouble with his words.

"H-hi, I'm R-Ryland." He says to Savannah.

"Nice to meet you." She replys giggling a little.

"So you guys are in a band?" I ask them.

"Yep. We're called The Heirs." Savannah answers.

"Cool!"

"We're going on after some band called R5; have you guys heard of them?" Brandon asks us.

We all start laughing.

"That would be us." Rydel says still laughing.

"Oh my gosh, I had no idea!" Brandon says laughing nervously.

"Well, not all of us, just those five." I say pointing them out. "Justin and I are in another band, and Ryland DJs."

"Really? That's so cool!" Savannah says to Ryland.

"We should probably head back over to the stage." Justin tells me.

We all head back to the stage area and meet up with the rest of the band and introduce them to Brandon and Savannah.

"Alright, Living the Dream?" The director asks.

"That would be us!" I answer.

"You're on in two minutes."

"Okay, thanks."

"We're going to go in the crowd." Ross tells me. "Good luck." He says kissing my forehead.

"Thanks."

I wave goodbye to the rest of them and turn to the band.

"Is it bad that I'm not nervous?" I ask.

"I'm only nervous because I haven't been on a stage in a while. I play in front of people all the time." Justin says.

"Yeah." The rest of the guys agree.

"Alright guys, you're on." The director says.

"Let's do this!" I say smiling.

Sorry if the band name sounds dumb, I was having a hard time coming up with one. If you guys have any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them and possibly change it.

Little story to tell you guys.

On Friday I went to the mall with my friend and we found Rydel's Girls Life magazine and we bought it. We took a pic holding them up and I posted it on Instagram and tagged Rydel and Stormie. RYDEL LIKED MY PIC!!! I was screaming and freaking out really bad.lol

Idk, I felt like I needed to share that with you.
