I Can't Forget You//Ross Lynch&R5

Chapter 24

Sophie and I arrive at the studio the guy at the front desk directs us to the room.

"This is it! I can't believe it!" Sophie says excitedly as we stand in front of the door.

We both take a deep breath and I open the door.

"Here they are now!" A guy says.
I walk into the room and freeze.

"Chelsea?" Ross asks.

I can't say anything. I'm not even in shock that R5 is standing in front of me, I've gotten too close to them to freak out anymore; I just can't believe I'm standing in front of Ross.

"Well, this is Sophie and-" Andre begins, but Riker cuts him off.

"We know who they are." He says.
I look over at Rydel and she looks conflicted.

"We met Chelsea last summer and Ross dated her until Disney made him date Laura-" she says.

"Rydel!" Ross yells at her.

"Wait, what?" I ask confused.

"Can we go somewhere and talk?" Ross asks me.

We go out into the hallway and go sit in the little sitting area that's across from the room.

"I just want to say that I never wanted to break up with you. I just didn't want to lose my job." He says.

"Why didn't you just tell me that when you broke up with me? Yeah I probably still would've been upset, but it would've made me feel better knowing you still loved me."

"I do still love you, Chelsea." He begins; "I should've never broken up with you. I broke up with Laura as soon as we were done filming the last episode of Austin and Ally. I didn't want to be with her 'cause I didn't feel the same way I did when I was with you."

I feel tears in my eyes.

"I just don't know Ross. I believe you, but you still lied to me and hurt me. I'm going to need some time to think about stuff." I say.

"I understand."

We go back into the room.

"So can we start this meeting?" Andre asks.

We sit around the big table in the middle of the room.

"So I'm just going to get right to the point. As long as it's okay with R5; girls, how would you two like to open for them on their summer tour?" Andre asks us.

Both Sophie and I go into shock.

"Is it okay with you guys?" I ask them.

"Of course! You two are really good, touring with you would be amazing!" Rocky says.

Sophie and I look at each other and don't even have to think.

"Yes, we'd love to tour with them!" We say excitedly.

"Great! I'll get everything all figured out and let you two know what's going on before you leave at the end of the week." Andre tells us.

"When exactly is the tour?" Sophie asks.

"It starts May 25th and goes through August 30th. So it's basically all summer. It's also just the US." Rydel says.

"That's awesome! I can't wait!" Soph says.

When the meeting's done, Soph and I go back to our hotel room.

"So what did you and Ross talk about?" She asks me.

"He told me why he broke up with me and that he still loves me."

"What'd you say?"

"I told him that I don't know how I feel and I need time to think about everything."

We talk about how excited we are about the tour and some other stuff.

My phone beeps and I have a text message from Rydel.

Gosh did I miss seeing her name show up on my phone.

Hey! We're going to the beach, do you two want to come with?

"Wanna go to the beach with the Lynch's and Ellington?"

"Yes!"

I text her back with the name of the hotel we're staying at and she says that they'll be here in 20 minutes.

We hurry and change and wait for them in the front lobby.

Once we're at the beach, we set up our area and Rydel, Sophie and I lay out and tan while the boys go surf.

"How excited are you two about tour?" Rydel asks us.

"I can't believe it's happening. I've always imagined going on tour and now it's finally happening." I say.

"It's so much fun, I love it." Rydel says.
We lay out for about a half hour.

"Wanna go in the water?" Sophie asks.

"Sure, let's go!"

We walk into the water and it's not really cold, but it's not really hot, so it's perfect.

"Hey Chelsea! Come here!" Ross yells over at me.

I swim over to him.

"What's up?"

"Wanna learn how to surf?" He asks.

"Um, sure."

He spends the next hour teaching me how to surf. I caught on pretty fast.

"You're a fast learner." He says.

"Well I did have an amazing teacher." I reply smiling.

We stand there looking into each others eyes and we slowly start leaning in.

Our faces are so close I can feel him breathing.

I realized what was about to happen and I took a step back before we could go any further.

"Sorry, I just-" Ross began

"It's okay."

"Guys!" Rocky yells at us; "let's go grab something to eat!"

After we go out to eat, they drop me and Sophie back off at our hotel.
