Chapter 21

Ross' POV

Breaking up with Chelsea was really hard.

I couldn't really stay with her since I'm being set up with Laura to promote the final season of Austin and Ally.

After Chelsea hung up on me, I crawled into bed and didn't move, I couldn't. I just cried.

Rydel barges into my room after about a half hour.

"Wow Ross. You really are stupid." She yells.

"Rydel, let me-"

"No, you don't get to explain. You just broke Chelsea's heart. She called me crying because you broke up with her because you 'found another girl'. We both know that's not true."

"Rydel I had no choice! I didn't want to hurt her even more!" I yell back.

She seemed taken back. I never yell, especially at her.

"Disney is making me date Laura to promote Austin and Ally. I didn't want her to find that out and think I was cheating on her." I say.

"Why didn't you just tell her that then?"

"She wouldn't have believed me."

"You didn't even try. You don't deserve her if you can't even tell her the truth." Rydel says as she walks out of my room, slamming my door shut.

She's right.

I don't deserve Chelsea. She's beautiful, smart, talented and is going to go far; then there's me who lied to her just so I wouldn't hurt her and I ended up hurting her even more.

I lay back in bed and fall asleep crying.
