"Wait, what about Sophie?" I ask mom.
"Well I talked to her parents. Sadly, they can't afford to move across the country and they don't want Sophie going to a different school for senior year." Mom answers.
"Does she know we're moving?"
"No."
"I really don't want to be the one to tell her." I say.
"Just wait for the right time, but don't wait too long."
"But I don't want her to be mad at me all summer."
"You'll know when it's time to tell her, you always figure stuff like this out."
After dinner, I call Ross and tell him the news.
"That's amazing!" He says when I tell him.
"I'm so excited! I haven't told Sophie yet though, I'm kinda worried about how she'll take it."
"If she's really your friend, she'll understand."
"I hope so."
We talk for a little longer, then I get really tired and go to bed.
I still can't believe I'm moving to Cali!
