4 days after homecoming is my 17th birthday. The best part about that was Ross is still in Ohio, he's staying until Saturday, so he still has 3 days here.

My mom really likes Ross. She likes him so much, that she let him stay in my room while he's here.

I wake up and I'm basically laying on top of Ross, and he's got his arms around me, almost like he's hugging me. He's still dead asleep, but I have to get up and get ready for school.

I wiggle my way out of his grip, and wake him up in the process.

I guess he wasn't as asleep as he looked.

"Happy birthday beautiful." He says.

"Thanks."

He let's me go and I start to get ready for the day.

When I'm done getting ready, Ross drives me to school.

"What have you been doing the past couple days when I'm at school?" I ask him on the way there.

"Well on Monday I fell back asleep for a little while until you're mom came home and woke me up; and yesterday I talked with my siblings back home and wrote a few songs." He answers.

"Am I going to hear these songs before you leave?"

"Maybe. I'm not 100% done with them yet."

We arrive at school, and Ross kisses me goodbye, then leaves.

When I get to my locker, Sophie's already there and is holding a gift for me.

"Happy birthday Chelsea!" She basically screams. "Here, this is for you!"

She hands me the bag.

I open it and it's an empty scrapbook.

"I figured you could put the pictures you took when you were in Cali in it, that way you'll always have them."

"Aw thank you so much!" I say and give her a hug.

The day went by pretty fast. At the start of last period, we were called down to the auditorium for an assembly.

"It would've been nice to know we weren't going to be having class today." My English teacher says.

We all head to the auditorium. One of the administrators see me and pull me and Sophie aside.

"You two have special seats for this." He says as he walks us to the front of the auditorium.

There's 2 open seats in the middle of the front row.

We sit down and talk about what must be going on.

The curtain is closed, but we can see people walking behind it from where the curtain ends at the bottom.

As soon as everyone's seated, the lights go completely off and the curtain opens.

"I want you guys to get on your feet and sing as loud as you can; let everything out, all the stress and worries and just have fun!" Ross' voice is heard, but you can't see him.

People stand up and start screaming.

Sophie looks at me confused and I shrug my shoulders.

I have no idea what's going on.

Next thing I know, drums are being played. The drum solo opening to Loud is playing.

One of the spotlights shines on the drums that are being played by Ratliff.

Wait..

"Ratliff?!" I scream.

As if he heard me, which I know he didn't, he looked right at me and smiled and winked.

Then the other spotlight shines on the keyboard and Rydel comes out and plays her opening.

She looks at me, smiles, and waves.

I missed her so much.

Then the backlights on the stage come on and the spotlights are turned off.

Rocky, Riker, and Ross join them on stage.

They start singing Loud and I just lose it and have fun.

I don't even think about the fact that I'm dating Ross or Rydel is one of my best friends; right now, I feel like just another fan having fun.

After the song's done, Ross walks up to the mic.

"Hey everyone! We're R5 and we're going to be playing a couple songs for you today! Are you ready to have some fun?!"

The crowd screams.

People who don't even know about them are up on their feet dancing along.

The next song they play is Forget About You, then Cali Girls, then they stop and Ratliff stands up.

"So guys," he says looking at his band mates; "I hear that today's someone's birthday."

"Really, who?" Rocky asks looking back at him.

"Hey Chelsea," Rydel says looking at me from her keyboard; "why don't you come up here?!"

I get up and walk to the side if the stage where the steps are and walk onto the stage.

The first thing I do is run over to Rydel and hug her.

Then I make my way around the the rest of them and hug them too, ending with Ross.

I stand next to him and he puts his arm around my shoulders.

"Chelsea turns 17 today, how 'bout we sing happy birthday to her?" Ross says.

"1! 2! 3!" Ratliff says into the mic.

Everyone starts singing happy birthday to me.

"Thanks guys!" I say taking the mic away from Ross.

The lights go off again and we walk off stage.

Rydel, Ratliff and Riker go back onto it so they can start Seven Nation Army.

Ryland, Mark, and Stormie are backstage.

"What are you guys doing here?!" I ask hugging them.

"We couldn't miss your birthday, we had to come see you!" Ryland says.

"Seriously, this is the best birthday ever."

Ross and Rocky go back onstage and Sophie comes backstage and meets Ryland and their parents.

We hang out back there with them for the rest of the show.
