Chapter 38

We go onstage and the crowd goes crazy.

"Are you guys ready to have a good night?!" I yell into the mic as the song starts.

We open with 'Shut Up and Dance' by Walk the Moon. Justin and Dallas take turns singing the verses, and Adam and I sing the chorus.

We perform a couple more songs, then close with 'It Ain't Fun' by Paramore.

When the song's over, the band and I take a bow and run off stage. Ross was the first one to say something.

"You guys were amazing!" He says pulling me into a hug. "Especially you." He whispers so only I can hear.

"Heard that." Justin says as he walks past us.

"The Heirs, you guys are on in 10!" The stage manager announces.

"Hey Ross, I'm gonna go walk around in the crowd, wanna come?" Riker asks him.

"Do you wanna come with us?" Ross asks me.

"No it's fine, I'll go out with someone from my band, go have fun." I tell him then kiss him quickly.

The Heirs go on stage and start their set and I hang out backstage with Rocky.

A few minutes later, Justin walks backstage.

"Hey Rocky, I have someone I want you to meet." He says. "Oh, hey Chels, you can come with us if you want."

"Sure, why not."

The three of us walk into the crowd of people. Not a lot of people notice us 'cause they're too busy singing and dancing along to The Heirs.

Justin walks over to these two girls who are watching the performance, and he taps one of them on her shoulder.

"Hey Justin!" The one girl says as she hugs him.

"Hey! This is my, well," he pauses, "I guess we're not siblings anymore, but I'm still calling you my sister."

"Hi, I'm Chelsea." I introduce myself since Justin wasn't doing a good job of it.

"Nice to meet you." The girl says.

"And this is my friend Rocky." Justin introduces. "Rocky, this is one of my cousins on my dad's side of the family."

"Hi, it's nice to meet you." Rocky says to her.

"You too. I'm Alexa." She replies. "Oh, and this is my friend Chloe."

"Hey!" Rocky and I say to her.

Rocky and Alexa start talking, and Justin, Chloe and I walk around the crowd for a little while.

Eventually we run into Ross and Riker.

"Hey babe." Ross says hugging me from behind.

"Hey. Don't you guys go on soon?" I ask them.

"We have about 20 minutes." Ross answers.

"Who's this?" Riker asks smiling and looking at Chloe.

"This is Chloe. Chloe, this is Riker." Justin introduces them.

"Hey! Are you having fun?" Riker asks her.

"Yes! Everyone's so good! I can't wait to see you guys go on." She answers.

"We should probably start heading backstage Riker." Ross tells him.

"Yeah, let's go." Riker says. "You and your friend should hang around after the show later so we can all hang out."

"Defiantly! Good luck!"

Ross kisses me quickly and then they go backstage.

"He defiantly likes you." I tell Chloe.

"You think?"

"I've known him for a while now; I notice these things. Do you like him?"

I think about what I just asked her.

"I'm so sorry, I don't know you well enough to ask you that."

She laughs.

"It's fine. But yeah, I do." She says smiling and blushing a little.

A couple minutes later, the lights dim and R5 starts their set.

I keep apologizing for not updating, but I really feel bad about it. Honestly, I was so into writing Life as a Lynch, that I kinda forgot about this story...sorry about that.

I need you're help...

I have a few more ideas for this story, but once I use those, the story's done. So if you want it to be longer, either comment or message me some ideas.

I'm really busy this upcoming week, so if I get a chance to write, I'll update again, but I honesty don't know when I'm going to have time.
