I wake up extremely excited. Today's the day I finally leave for Cali! My mom's taking me to the airport in an hour, then waiting for Nicole to get off her flight here, then we get on the flight to Cali.
"2 weeks is the longest we've been away from each other." My mom says in the car on the way to the airport.
"Yep. It'll go by fast; I mean, I don't want it too, but you know what I mean." I say.
She giggles at that.
A couple minutes later, we're at the airport.
"I'm going to miss you." Mom says hugging me.
"I'm going to miss you too."
I go inside and wait for Nicole's plane to land so I can meet up with her.
5 minutes later, she's walking over to me. I stand up and hug her.
"You ready for this?" She asks me.
"Yes. The last time I was this excited I was waiting in line to meet R5."
She laughs.
Our flight is called and we board the plane and find our seats.
~~
The flight wasn't too long. It was a lot of fun.
We find our luggage and Nicole starts to look for her boyfriend.
"Oh, there he is!" She says grabbing my hand and walking through the crowd of people.
"Chelsea, this is Nathan. As Nathan, this is Chelsea." She says introducing us.
"Nice to meet you!" I say.
"You too." He says back. "You two ready to go?"
"Yes!" Nicole and I say at the same time.
I get into the backseat of Nathan's car and I look out the window the entire ride to his house.
California is beautiful.
We get to his house and he grabs our bags and takes them in for us.
Nathan shows us around his house.
"That's basically it." He says.
"Your house is beautiful." I say.
Honesty, I'm still kinda in shock that I'm in California right now. I've wanted to come here for so long.
Nathan looks outside really quick.
"Oh good, they're home." He says walking towards the door. "There's a few people I want you two to meet."
He walks us next door to his neighbors house and knocks on the door.
The door opens a few seconds later. I instantly freeze.
Oh. My. Gosh.
