I Can't Forget You//Ross Lynch&R5

Chapter 19

Today's New Year's Eve. I'm also surprising Ross today.

When I wake up, I get ready for the day. We have to be at the venue at 4, so we'll leave Nicole's around 3:30 so we get there a little early. I didn't want to get there so early that I might run into Ross and ruin the surprise.

3:30 comes fast. Nicole and I are standing in line waiting to be checked in for the meet and great. Mark knows I'm surprising Ross, so it wasn't a shock for him when he saw me.

When the line started moving, I got a text from Ross.

'I wish I could be with you tonight. I'll be thinking of you all night.'

I smile. He's seriously the sweetest guy ever.

I can't ignore the message or he'll know something's up.

'I wish I could be with you too! Xo'

About 10 minutes later, we were in the same room as R5. I turned my back so Ross couldn't see me. Rydel already saw me, so she kept Ross from looking over at me.

When we were up next, I still kept my back turned.

"Okay, next." Mark says.

I turn around and look right at Ross.

His face lights up.

"Chelsea?!" He says excitedly.

I run over to him and kiss him. He kisses back immediately.

"I wasn't expecting that." Rocky said.

I pulled back and laughed a little.

"Hey guys!" I say walking down the line hugging them all.

"Thank you." I whisper to Rydel when I hug her.

"Anytime. You're like the sister I never had, I'd do anything for you." She says.

"Okay I know you're all really happy right now, but we have to hurry, there's still more fans." Mark says.

Since Nicole's with me, we took 2 pictures.

The first one was normal, and the second one was interesting; Ross grabbed my face and kissed me, Rydel and Ratliff hugged, and Nicole, Rocky and Riker group hugged with Nicole in the middle.

When we walked away, Mark handed us 2 backstage pass things and told us to tell the head security guy to show us the dressing room and wait for them there.

The wait wasn't long once we got in the dressing room.

Ross was the first one in the room.

"How did you manage to get here and keep it from me?" He asked sitting down on the couch, pulling me onto his lap.

"Well, Nicole lives like 15 minutes away, and I was coming here for New Years anyways, I told Rydel that I would be here, so she hooked me up."

"Thanks Del." Ross says to her.

"You guys need to finish warming up." Mark says walking in the room.

The show was outside the building that the meet and greet took place in, so Nicole and I put on our jackets, gloves and beanies and went outside to our seats, while R5 finished getting ready.

The show started around 7:30, and since it's New Years, they played until 11:45. They played almost every song they've written.

At 11:45 when they were done, they handed their instruments to the crew and say down on the edge of the stage.

"Did you guys have fun tonight?!" Riker yells into the mic.

The crowd woos.

"I take it 'woo!' is a good thing." Ratliff says.

Ross jumps off stage and walks over to me and Nicole and tells us to sit onstage with them.

When there's 5 minutes left of the year, we all stand up and are doing stuff trying to keep warm; it's the end of December in New York, it's kinda cold.

"5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Happy new year!" Everyone screams.

Ross leans down and kisses me and the crowd aw's and screams.

But they weren't aw'ing and screaming at us.

When we pulled away, we looked over at Rydel and Ellington.

Ellington quickly kissed Rydel and the crowed went crazy. I have to admit, so did I.

"What was all that about?" I ask Rydel when I walk over to her.

"I'm not sure, I think it was just an at the moment thing." She tells me.

"And?"

"I don't know. We're just friends, but I wish we were something more."

"Maybe you should talk to him about it, maybe he feels the same way. Now let's go party!" I say as I start to walk towards the rest of the band.

After we party with the R5Family for about an hour, we went back inside.

We all got our stuff and they went to their hotel and Nicole and I went back to her house.

Can't have a fanfic without a little Rydellington happening!

I'm going to say it now, sorry for all the time jumps, like I've said in my other books, I just hate having a lot of filler chapters, I'd rather just get to the point.
