Chapter 20

Not much has happened the last 3 months. It's March and spring break is in 3 weeks; I'm looking forward to not going to school for a week.

Things with me and Ross have been okay, I guess. Everything was going great after the holidays, then about 2 weeks ago, Ross stopped texting and calling me as frequently. I'm not trying to sound like one of those over-obsessive girlfriends, but he calls or texts me at least once a day and he goes a few days without me hearing anything from him.

Rydel said he hasn't been home much, but he's been under a lot of pressure between the band and Austin and Ally.

Today at school went by pretty fast.

I get home and go in my room and watch some tv. Austin and Ally was on, so I decided to watch it. It's the episode when Austin and Ally kiss at prom.

During one of the commercials, my phone starts to ring; it's Ross.

"Hey!" I answer.

"Chelsea, we have to talk." He says kinda upset.

Oh no.

"Ross, what's wrong? You're worrying me."

He exhales.

"I'm so sorry."

"Sorry for what?"

"Chelsea, I'm breaking up with you."

Tears rush to my eyes.

"What, why?" I say holding them back.

"I just-can't do this anymore." He says. You can hear the sadness in his voice.

"Can I at least get an explanation?" I say as a few tears fall.

"I met someone else."

I lose it and start crying.

"So that it? You're just going to walk away after all we've been through?!" I say, more like yell a little.

We haven't really been through anything, but it's hard being in a long distance relationship.

"Chels-"

I cut him off.

"I really thought you were different." I say; "bye Ross."

I hang up my phone and throw it into the corner of my room.

I lay down on my bed with my face in my pillow and I just cry.

After a good 10 minutes, I have no more tears, they just don't come out anymore.

I turn around so I'm sitting up.

I watch the tv hoping it will help a little.

Of course the scene that's on is when Austin kisses Ally while their slow dancing.

Watching that made me cry again thinking about homecoming and how Ross surprised me.

I called Rydel and told her what just happened.

My mom came home about an hour later and I ran to her crying and told her everything.

Just a side note, in this story, the HMUOY ep hasn't been released yet.

I'm on winter break for the next two weeks, so I'll probably be updating a lot!!
