Chapter 47

Today's the big day! The AMAs are tonight! Everyone's so excited. I spent the night over the Lynch's last night so I'd already be here in the morning to get ready with them.

After everyone wakes up and showers, Stormie makes us breakfast. Once we're done eating, Rydel, Alexa, Chloe, and I go get our hair done.

"I feel bad that Savannah isn't here with us." I say to everyone.

"So do I. It's weird that we're all here getting ready, and she's probably at home right now." Rydel says sadly.

"And she's going to be at home with Brandon while we're all at the awards show." Alexa adds.

"Ellington should've given her his extra ticket, my mom would've understood." I say.

"Yeah, but what about Brandon and the rest of the band then? Then they would've been left out." Chloe says.

"Good point."

The receptionist calls out for us to go in the back to get started. When we stand up, the door opens. We all turn around, out of habit, to see who's walking in.

"Savannah?" Rydel questions.

"Surprise!" Savannah yells. "We got a call the other day from our management saying that they had extra tickets to the show tonight and wanted to know if The Heirs wanted them. I knew you guys had hair appointments this morning, so as soon as we found out, I booked one for now too so I could surprise you guys."

"That's amazing!" Alexa says excitedly. "Now we can all get our hair done together!"

After we're done, we head back to the Lynch's to get ready.

When we get there, Stormie has all our dresses on a rack in the living room.

"Oh my gosh! These are gorgeous!" Savannah says excitedly.

We run over to the dresses and we each grab one. Rydel's dress is obviously the long, light pink dress with the slit up the leg and jewels on it, since she's the one who's up for an award. The rest of us have short dresses.

I grab a light pink dress with lace on it, Chloe takes the black dress with straps, Alexa grabs a strapless blue dress, and Savannah grabs a dark navy blue dress with one strap.

"I know you girls too well." Stormie says walking into the living room with my mom. "You girls each picked out the dresses I picked for you."

We laugh for a minute, then we go upstairs and change.

Once we're done changing into our dresses, my mom and Stormie come up and do our make up. When that's finished, we put on our shoes and head downstairs.

As we're walking down the stairs, we hear the guys talking. After all of us are down there, they all stop talking and stare at us.

All the guys are in matching colors to our dresses.

"You look amazing." Ross tells me as he walks up to me.

"Thanks. You don't look so bad yourself." I say.

I look over at Ellington, and he can't take his eyes off Rydel.

"Rydel, you look gorgeous." He tells her.

"Thanks Ell." She says.

"If we don't go now, we're going to be late." Mark says.

We get into the limo and turn on some music. We basically party the whole way there while our parents sit together and talk about other things.
