Sofia Elena's eyebrows furrowed when she saw her husband, Madrid Anselmo at the kitchen area of their Snowdon's residence. Tumutulong ito ngayon sa paghahanda ng almusal kasama ang mga yaya nila. She knew she woke up late and she didn't expect Madrid would help in making their breakfast. Alam din niya kasing hindi ito marunong magluto.
"Hey," Madrid greeted quickly when he looked back and saw her. He immediately washed off his hands at the sink and went near her. She almost got surprised when her husband suddenly gave her a quick kiss on her forehead.
"We're actually making breakfast. Well," nagkibit-balikat ito. "I don't really know how to cook so tumulong na lang ako sa paghanda ng mga ingredients."
Fia smiled at the thought. She playfully shook her head. "Baka mamaya lasunin mo kaming lahat."
"Hey." He reacted, "I'm not that bad. Sabi ng mga yaya mo, I can already cook for you if I have the time."
She rolled her eyes jokingly, "You're going to kill me for sure."
"You're teasing me now," he told her, pointing the spoon he was holding at her. Naglakad na ito pabalik para ituloy ang panghihiwa nito sa mga gulay.
"Anyway, I already told your mother, Lady Violetta to wait at the living room. After we're done, we can all eat."
"Are you sure you don't need help?"
Madrid looked back at her again and gave her a smirk. "No. So, let me serve you for now, my Queen." Ngumuso pa ito. "Now wait at the living room."
Fia smiled and shook her head. Sumunod naman siya sa sinabi nito at pumunta na sa living room ng bahay nila. There, she saw her mother, Lady Violetta, reading a newspaper while sipping her tea on the couch.
"Mom," she greeted and kissed her mother's cheek. She proceeded to sit at the other sofa.
"You seemed getting along with the king," her mother commented. She wasn't expecting her words.
"Yes, he's trying his best to make it up to me... especially our marriage."
"Good."
