"Your majesty, your mother is here." Napatigil si Sofia sa paglalagay ng mga pagkain sa malaking dining table nang biglang nagsalita ang isang royal staff. She turned around and saw her mother, Lady Violetta. Beside her mother was her husband, Madrid Anselmo.
"Ma!" She excitedly went to her mother and hugged her. Matagal-tagal na rin silang 'di nagkita. Perhaps, she was busy with her work as Queen and assisting her husband.
"I'm glad that you're safe," her mother cupped her face as they freed themselves, "I was so worried, anak."
Fia gave her a small smile, "My husband is the reason why I'm safe, Ma, he saved me."
Natahimik ito at dahan-dahang nilingon si Madrid. Lady Violetta nodded at him. "Thank you so much, your majesty." Her mother said.
"I'll do everything to protect my wife." He replied, "Even if it will cost my life."
"I love your daughter too much that I'll do anything to make her safe."
Lady Violetta fell silent as she eyed Madrid like she didn't expect his words. Sofia somehow felt the tension between them and she was confused why. As if they were hiding something from her.
"Uhm, Ma," she interrupted them. "Dito na kayo kumain. I'm really glad that you went here. I was planning to visit Snowdon soon."
"I just miss my daughter," Lady Violette casually answered, "Sige, namiss ko na rin ang mga luto mo. Minsan, nakakasawa na rin ang mga luto ng mga yaya mo 'dun sa bahay natin."
Fia gave her mother a side hug, she was touched. "Aww. Huwag kang mag-alala, bibisita ako ulit sa inyo. Miss ko na rin sila yaya."
Pumunta kaagad ang Mama niya at naupo sa isa sa mga upuan. Fia went to Madrid and touched his right cheek. "Okay na katawan mo?"
Madrid held her hand and gave her a knuckle a kiss, "Yes. What we did last night made it better too."
Pinanlakihan niya ito ng mga mata, "Anselmo!" She playfully slapped his chest. He laughed. He hugged and gave her forehead a kiss. "Love you. Let's eat. I miss your cooking too."
Fia smiled at him and freed themselves from the hug. Naupo na rin silang dalawa.
