"Nat..." Madrid Anselmo in between their kisses. "Natalie..."
Natalie then stopped from kissing and looked at her incredulously, "Bakit ka tumigil?"
He looked at her and let out a frustrated sigh. "I have a wife."
Natalie Villagomez suddenly got silent. She stared at him in disbelief.
"Do you love her?"
"No," he quickly answered. His facial expression became stiff as well. "But it's my duty."
Umiling naman ito, para bang hindi makapaniwala sa sinabi niya rito. "You don't care about me anymore. Maybe they're right, I'm just a lowly palace maid who's very ambitious that her prince will love her too."
"You know that I care about you, Natalie. I always have."
"Then why did you fucking marry her?!" She hissed at him. Madrid Anselmo could already noticed the tears brimming her eyes. She knew Natalie was already frustrated and hurt with their situation right now.
Somehow, he felt guilty for causing it.
"You fucking married her..." Nat finally cried. She buried her face into her hands, trying to cover her sobs from him.
"Nat... Look at me."
He cupped her right cheek and made her face him. He was breathing heavily as well. If only things were different...
"My feelings for you before were all true. And until now, they're always true." He told her genuinely as he stared at her eyes. Those eyes whom he always want to see whenever he wants to escape from the royalty.
"Huwag kang magsalita ng ganyan kung hindi mo naman paninindigan, Madrid."
"Mahal kita, Natalie," he said breathlessly, "Since the first day I saw you at the palace, I know myself that you're going to be part of me for the rest of my life..."
