Chapter 5The wayward bride
Ortiz de Rozaz Palace
"Who does he think he is?!" Sofia was fuming mad the moment she went out from the East Wing, after slapping the King's face with the royal decree document. And he deserves it.Sumunod naman sa kanya si Cedes na naghihintay lang kanya sa labas ng East Wing.
"Just because he's the King, he can do that to me? Freaking no!" She exclaimed as she stormed out from the Ortiz de Rozaz palace angrily.
Sofia immediately opened the door of their car, which was waiting outside the palace for her. Tinabihan naman niya ang Mama niya na kasama niya sa pagpunta sa palasyo. Her mother, Lady Violetta, was waiting in the car also.
Napakunot-noo naman ito nang sumakay siya, "Ang aga naman natapos ng pag-uusap niyo--"
"I slapped him," She answered her mother, irritated. The nerve of the King to force her into marrying him - even making a royal decree so she cannot defy it. Just the other, she told him she wanted an annulment for their betrothal, she even thought he was fine with it because he asked her if he wants a proposition.
But then, she suddenly received a royal decree, forcing her to marry him instead?
What a pathetic King!
Probably a narcissist!
"What?" Her mother reacted in disbelief. She was the one who told her mom that she's going to talk with the King, in regards with the royal decree - to clarify some things. Her mother assumed somehow that she might have accepted the proposal - but no, she actually wanted to see the King and to slap him on his face with the royal decree document he just sent her.
"He's despicable," She replied, "Ano bang akala niya sa 'kin? Just because he's the King, he's entitled enough to force me to marry him? Hell no, Ma! Wala siyang karapatan para padalhan ako ng royal decree at pakasalan siya. I thought he was different but guess what, he's a terrible King!" Her face was even getting red because of her madness, she's freaking frustrated.
"You are mad, Sofia Elena!" Her mother hissed on her, "What were you thinking?! You cannot defy a King's order! It's violation of the law! More probably slapping the King!"
"He deserves it, Ma!" She was getting more frustrated, she expected her mother to be on her side, "And I'm not a child anymore! I'm eighteen, I'm legally an adult. I can have a say on these things. It doesn't mean he's the King, he can control my choices and my life."
